On your generator it sounds like a good carb cleaning is in order. Letting any gas engine set with fuel in the carb can plug up the passages in the carb. At first you may not notice running issues other than a bit of loss fuel economy. As the plugging progresses, so do the running issues. Hard to start, intermittent stalling, running hot to name a few. If the carb gets plugged enough it may only run with the choke on. If left long enough it will quit running.

I should think a padded landing, handrails, posts and stairs might be a good idea !
Oh, hi ! hows the rib ?
I hope you’re not going to use actual varnish on unseasoned wood, you might have trouble getting it to stay on over time.

Running a planer while wearing a chainsaw helmet. I love it. I've actually started to understand while you like the helmet so much. It's a simple solution for ear and eye protection. I find the combination of glasses, ear plugs and dust mask to be quite cumbersome.

  • @bpatton3671

Ryan, that looks amazing! How about instead of a lower able coffee table, you put 4 eyebolts in the ceiling. Then use 4 rods to connect to the table's eyeballs? When you're done, the table and rods come down and all that is left is the 4 eyeballs with nothing attached above? Don't know if the door could handle the weight but maybe store the table on the backside of the door! Hope some of that helps.
Maybe it could hang in storage on "J" shaped wooden hooks over in the corner by the door. The 4 hanging rods could go next to it in a rack like for pool cues! I personally like that idea best, solves the swinging problem, and keeps you from having to develop a pulley system for raising and lowering the table.
Have you talked to Tito about insulating under the flooring? He will have trouble doing that bubblewrap insulation, his floor is lower than yours, that is gonna be a nightmare!
    See next week! ❤❤

    Hey Worm aka Ryan,
First time commenter here...on any channel chat. I have been following your awesome journey and have watched all your videos..some more than once. I love your content and wish I had the balls to pull the trigger and do it myself...life's is in the way currently. My suggestion for you is get yourself a portable table saw. It will run on your power setup and will save you a ton of time ripping down boards, make cleaner straighter cuts, no more chalk lines on boards and table saws are fun to use. You will find you use it way more than that plainer and you'll find even more wierd projects to build with it. Keep the videos coming...it's what gets me up Saturday mornings and I look forward to them every week! Thank you!

The attention to detail is a testament to you sir, despite your protestations you take great pride in all you do, and it’s very admirable. I’m on board for a screened in porch next for those lovely fall nights and buggy spring days. But a tree fort sounds like a great idea secondary to your cabin up in the trees.

Ryan, everything looks so awesome. Good call on the varnish. The shinier, the better!! I mean, you built a whole cabin all by yourself, a great accomplishment. I used to watch other channels trying to build their own houses, and it's been 3 years, and they're using lumber from box stores and still haven't completed them. So, I quit watching their channels! It gets boring when you do not see any progress. Have a great week!!!

From what I’ve been told, it didn’t survive the financial devastation caused by the covid pandemic. The Beary Patch Restaurant on 2 in Engadine is also a fantastic breakfast place. Found out the only way to prevent it was to slightly overfill the oil OR tip it slightly to one side. Had something to do with the oil level and I could never figure out what was causing the problem with the oil. It ran for YEARS like that and was fine if I remembered the oil.
