The change in mind will lead to a change in behavior. Jesus said that you will know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:16 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. James 2:26 Repenting ie:changing one’s mind about our sinful state and what the finished work of Jesus’ death and resurrection means for us, is what is needed for salvation, but our behavior or “deeds” as James puts it, is the proof of our salvation. 🙏🏼
No! REPENT “to be saved” is repenting/changing your mind of your UNBELIEF IN Jesus! A lost person does NOT believe in Jesus! My neighbor is lost - he believes in BUDDHA for his after-life! WHAT must he DO to be saved? He MUST repent/change his mind of that UNBELIEF IN JESUS! It’s that simple! Plz consider looking at my videos on REPENT: videos 101, 169, 196, 198, 243 & 244. Most people teach that you must repent/change your behavior to be saved. THAT is totally false. Your BEHAVIOR has NOTHING to do with getting saved!
@@tomjoe81 The demons knew that Jesus was who he said he was, in their minds. My point is that if the sinner doesn’t first understand that he is in need of a savior, he has no reason to change his mind about his belief in Jesus. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Psalm 51:17 Written by a man after God’s own heart.
Believers were told to " Repent and be baptized"...in Acts 2:38, and they were unsaved believers!! for in v40 Peter told them to " Save themselves", also notice that repentance and baptism was something that they MUST DO v37 and that it was for the remission of sins v38 and that when they did so, they were added to the saved, v41, v47
Repent of your sins to be saved, is probably the most widely taught false gospel. It’s a stumbling block to the lost, who may otherwise believe, but instead reject the Savior because of the stumbling block laid before them by the false preachers and teachers. Thank you for teaching the true gospel and exposing this wicked false gospel.
Peter said in Acts 2:38 " Repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins", he told this to unsaved believers, so is Peter going to hell? and was the HS wrong for telling Peter this? Notice it was something that they "MUST DO", v37 and noticed they had believed in v37, yet Peter told them to "SAVE THEMSELVES" in v40.
So, if you have to believe in the DBR of Christ, will you go to hell? Did they believe in the DBR in John 6:40? John 3:16? John 1:12? Did the thief on the cross? So, the conclusion would be, that since they didn't believe in the DBR of Christ and were saved, we don't have to either. And if we do believe that, we are going to hell. John the Baptist had the HS in his Mothers womb, so was he saved without faith? His Mother also had the HS before Jesus was born, so was she saved without faith? So, the conclusion would be, since they both had the HS without faith, they were saved without faith and that means we can to......

@@tomjoe81 Don't blame you since you can't answer, but I really don't care if you respond. Acts 2:38 Peter said, " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins", So, we see this was something that they MUST DO, v37 and we also see that they were UNSAVED BELIEVERS in v37, it said that they were "CUT TO THE HEART", and yet Peter told them to SAVE THEMSELVES in v40. So, Repentance and baptism was something that they MUST DO and they were not saved at the point of faith, and Lastly according to what Tom has said, Peter is going to hell along with the 3000 who repented and were baptized......
@@tomjoe81 In John 12:42 we see that they BELIEVED IN JESUS (saved, according to Tom) yet they wouldn't confess Jesus for they love the praise of men more than the praise of God. Yet, Tom believes they are still saved, it is called Once Saved Always Saved. Yet Tom believes that if you believe you must repent, even though you have BELIEVED, you are going to hell......makes sense to me....
Thankyou for sharing this really appreciate it Be Blessed
