So, Tom believes if you repent, confess, baptism, walk in the light or live by the Spirit you are a work salvationist and you will go to hell. But Tom believes that after you have been saved, you can have an evil unbelieving heart falling away from the living God, Heb 3:12, and yet you will be saved. You can even "Depart from the faith and give heed to doctrine of demons", 1 Tim 4:1, and Tom believes you will still be saved. So, Tom, tell everyone how long must you believe before you can have an evil unbelieving heart and still be saved? one day, week, month? I figured at least ONE DAY, so every one, believe for ONE DAY and then you can do whatever you want....... This is Toms saving faith....

Amen, There is also a mistaken teaching that man is a sinner by birth and by choice that makes it easier to believe that one must repent from sins to get Christ to save him. Man is a sinner by birth and by practice but has no choice in not remaining condemned but to believe solely is the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:16 " He that believes and is baptized shall be saved..", I guess Jesus taught heresy. Acts 2:38 " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins", and when they did so, they were added to the saved, v41 v47 Gal 3:26-27 says that we become children of God by faith when we are baptized into Jesus, when we put Christ on. Col 2:12-14 says " Buried with Jesus in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Jesus THROUGH FAITH IN THE WORKING OF GOD.....God made us ALIVE TOGETHER WITH HIM HAVING FORGIVEN US ALL OUR TRESPASSES". So, when we are baptized, we are buried/ raised with Jesus through faith and God works on us!! God makes you ALIVE AND FORGIVES YOUR SINS!! Romans 6:3 " Do you not know that all who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried with Jesus by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too MIGHT WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE. ......We know that our old self was crucified with Jesus so that the sinful body might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin, FOR HE WHO HAS DIED IS FREED FROM SIN. But if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also LIVE WITH HIM........V22 " But now that you have been SET FREE FROM SIN...THE RETURN YOU GET IS SANCTIFICATION/ETERNAL LIFE. Acts 22:16 " Rise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on his name".

I think what is happening is, God is allowing Satan to gather his "ministers of light", put them through Satan's bible schools, and then to put them out there. For the sake of gathering the unbelievers together. If you read the Gospels... there's that IF, right... Jesus and his apostles didn't hang around with the scribes or religious leaders. They were out and about. A true Christian would be living a life similar to that, not gathering at the sinagogues.

YEP!!!!! Why does water 💧 baptism have the potential to make the gospel of the cross of no or none effect in 1 Cor 1:17????

But since Tom believes in OSAS, he believes you do not have to confess or repent and you will still be saved......in fact Tom has said if you believe you have to repent, you will go to hell, so the same would be for confession...

because scripture says so. 1 John 1:9

In Luke 24:47 Jesus said that " Repentance and remission of sins to be preached in his name BEGINNING FROM JERUSALEM", and this happens in Acts 2 where Peter preaches the first gospel sermon. In v 37 they asked, " WHAT MUST WE DO?" and Peter said, " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins..." and it says that those who received the word and were baptized, were added to the saved. v41 v47. So, repentance and baptism was something that they MUST DO and it added them to the saved. Gal 3:26-27 says that we become children of God by faith when we are baptized into Christ, when we PUT CHRIST ON.

So, James is wrong? James 2:14 " If a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him?.....so faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.......Even the demons believe and shudder....Was not Abraham our father justified by works?...you see tat faith was active along with his works, and faith completed by works.....you see that a man is justified by works and not faith alone.....For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead." So, apparently Tom believes we are saved by a dead faith, the faith that demons have. 1 John 4:9 " God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might LIVE THROUGH HIM". 1 John 2:17 " He who does the will of God abides forever.." John 3:21 " But he who DOES what is true comes to the light.......he who does not OBEY the Son shall not see life". Matt 7:24 " Every one who hears these words of mine AND DOES THEM will be like a wise man" Romans 6:16 " Do you not know that if you yield yourselves to any one as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin , which leads to death, OR OF OBEDIENCE , which leads to righteousness". Eph 2:8-9 it is an obedient faith not a dead faith like the demons have and the works are works of the law, not of faith. We are saved by faith, an obedient faith and we become children of God by faith when we are baptized into Christ, when we put Christ on, Gal 3:26-27

This is what lukewarm means, mixing law and grace which is why they are estranged from Christ and rejected because they aren't trusting in God's means of justification. Galatians 5:4 God bless you brother Tom!

So, John 3:21 " But he who DOES what is true...", according to Tom, is going to hell. 1 John 3:24 " All who keep his commandments abide in him, and he in them...", and you will go to hell 1 John 1:7 " Walk in the light as he is in the light....and the blood of Christ cleanses you from your sins", and you will go to hell 1John 5:2 " When we love God and obey his commandments, for this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments..." and if you do, Tom says you will go to hell. So, that means I must then walk in darkness, live by the flesh, disobey his commands and not be baptized and I will be saved. We don’t know if we are going until it’s time. Like you can try and reassure yourself that you are going heaven, but by your repentance of your sin and seeking his forgiveness and mercy and grace, but remember we are all Christians who WILL fall back into sin! We ARE not the Messiah, we can only sin-less and still seek forgiveness mercy and grace, but please repent and forgive yourself and forgive others as they have trespassed against you

Amen, I'm not trusting in repenting from sins or any other good works I may do as result of any measure of dedication I may have. I'm trusting what Jesus Christ did for me on the cross and that's ALL I'm trusting to get me to Heaven.

So, you have one person who was saved, but then " Departed from the faith and gave heed to doctrine of demons" 1 Tim 4:1 and yet they were still saved, OSAS. And another who was saved, but then had an "evil unbelieving heart and fell away from the living God" Heb 3:12, yet they were still saved. And then you had a person who believed and repented to be saved, yet this person was condemned to hell......this is what Tom apparently believes.

Amen, It is a mistaken message to teach believe in Jesus And repent from your sins And change your ways. It makes believing in Jesus not the determining factor but a mere step to get you back to yourself as the savior.

So, what about Cornelius in Acts 10, did you know he was saved without faith. In Acts 11:4 " Peter began and explained to them IN ORDER.......v15 " As I BEGAN TO SPEAK, the HS fell on them...", so the HS fell on them before Peter told them the message by which they would be saved, v14.....so the conclusion would be, since they received the HS before they had faith, they were saved without faith. Also notice that water baptism in the name of Jesus is a command of the Lord. Acts 10:33 " to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord........Can any man forbid water for baptizing these people.....and he COMMANDED THEM TO BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS", so can we refuse to obey a command of the Lord? 1John 2:4 Acts 2:38 " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus ( water baptism) for the remission of your sins..." and when they did so, they were added to the saved, v41, v47

We are saved by grace through faith when we are baptized into Christ. Eph 2:5 " God made us ALIVE TOGETHER WITH HIM ( by grace you have been saved) and we read in Col 2:12-14 that we are MADE ALIVE TOGETHER WITH HIM when we are baptized, so that is when we are saved by grace through faith.

1 Cor 1:17 " For Christ sent me not to baptized..", then why did he baptize? Acts 18:8 " And many of the Corinthians hearing Paul believed and were baptized" and why would Paul say in 1 Cor 1:12-13 that in order to BELONG TO CHRIST, Christ would have to be crucified for you, which he was, and that you would have to be baptized in the name of Jesus, which I was, so I belong to Christ. 1 Cor 1:17 is like John 12:44, it is a not/but verse, Jesus said in John 12:44 " He who believes in me, believes NOT IN ME, but in him who sent me..", so does that mean we do not believe in Jesus? or is he saying, " He who believes in me does not believe in me only, but also who sent me"? and 1 Cor 1:17 " Christ sent me not to baptize only, but to also preach the gospel.." And just for the fun of it, Tom how do you know 1Cor 1:17 isn't talking about HS Baptism? Christ sent me not to HS baptize....

Tom believes in ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED, so you can have an abundant life walking in darkness, and you will still be saved. You can walk after the flesh, commit adultery, fornication and even murder....and according to Tom, you will still be saved. Have an evil unbelieving heart falling away from the living God, no problem, you are still saved. Depart from the faith and give heed to doctrine of demons, again, no problem, you are still saved. So, Tom, how long must we believe? before we can have an evil unbelieving heart and still be saved? 3 seconds? one day? week?

How do men baptize? Matt 28:19, Mark 16:16 they baptize in water, Acts 2:38.

I believe in Jesus and that he died and was raised from the dead. I believe he is Lord. When I hear things like if you don’t have a relationship with him like reading the Bible and praying-doing all these on a daily basis, He will say depart from me, I never knew you. I fail in those areas. It’s so frustrating!

Amen. Without FAITH in God, a person can read the Bible "ink on paper", have more degrees than a thermometer , and totally fail at understanding God's perfect word! Matthew 11:25, KJV reads, "At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes." Our Most High God was so wise to do this... otherwise, we'd be kissing the feet of philosophy professors and arrogant Pharisees ! !

And Tom is educated......Tom says if you believe you have to repent to be saved, you are going to hell. But Tom believes after you have been saved, you are once saved always saved, and you can walk in darkness, and heaven will be your home.....

If you believe you must repent to be saved, there is no grace for you, you will go to hell. But if after you are saved, if you walk in darkness, never ever repent, you will receive grace and heaven will be your home, it is called OSAS.....

So, since the thief on the cross did not believe in the Trinity, does that mean we do not have to? Since the Trinity is not mentioned in John 6:40, if we believe you have to believe in the trinity to be saved, will we go to hell, like repentance will send us to hell for it is supposedly not mention in John 6:40
