No words. Pollini is perfect, Sokolov is beyond perfection. The thrill from 29:10 is amazing.
His phrasing, dynamics and articulation are quite breathtaking. Forget the odd error - this performance is simply wonderful.
Perhaps the best quality of his op. 111 on TH-cam. Thank you so much. Please don't remove it.
There is also a performance of a pianist by the name of "Alfred Brendel" on youtube that's on the same level as this imo.
What a suspance he created with this interpretation.. Amazing.

It is harder to be rhythmical.
First movement is like a softy version with wooden swords so noone gets hurt, too controlled...I don't like it. Richter does this sonata more justice.
