This does not work for Windows 10 “System Windows”. For example, the “Control Panel” window. In this case, if we activate all the columns, we will not be able to capture the window horizontally and vertically as the “FastStone Capture” software can do.
This is a shame, especially since we haven't been able to do this with SnagIt for years.
Hopefully one day soon, in an update, we will be able to do it.

Have you tried Snagit's manual scrolling capture? This allows you to scroll around by hand in any direction and should work pretty much anywhere.

This results in unaligned lines, and the result is bad. Try with Task Manager with all columns active and full lengths and you will see for yourself. This problem has always existed with SnagIt. Thanks for feedback

What version of Snagit do you have? We made some improvements in the last year for scrolling capture that may help.

      Version is 2023.21 (Build 33145) 2023-08-29
SnagIt make a great job, but I'm frustrated I can't capture (image, I don't want a video, neither PDF file) Windows 10 System Windows like Task Manager easy. For now, for Task Manager for example, I must capture manually part of windows, Print Screen, and put together in graphic program, like Photoshop or other. Very boring. Thanks again for your feedback.

Task manager is tricky because the content can rearrange while scrolling is happening, and that confuses the stitching logic. It may help to sort by name to prevent that.
