Hi Chris! I'm a longtime Snagit user on the Mac, and just discovered your vids! I just used the one about using the Steps feature for a post, so great. On my Mac I set up my hotkey to do "All in One" so I can choose between a regular capture, a video capture, or a panoramic capture on the fly. One great use of Panoramic that you might mention (or do another video on) is that it's really the only way to capture an internal scrolling section of a web site. For example, your Facebook feed, or a single post in FB with all the comments, or your bank transactions, etc. Whenever there's a scroll bar *inside* a web page, and you want to capture that, Snagit and Panoramic is key. I have learned to make sure that the internal scroll bar itself is not part of the panoramic capture, so keep the right edge of the selection just inside the left edge of the scroll bar.
I use Snagit and when I want to print the scrolled document it starts printing from the middle of the page and doesn't print the whole image even though it shows that i capture the whole image. I saved it as a jpeg and I tried saving it as a png but in doesn't go to a second page and it's really annoying. Is there a way to get the scrolled document to print to as many pages as it needs to.
How do I get it to paste to work in a bigger font? When share it to word, the font and image is tiny...when I enlarge it, it gets blurry. Is there a fix for these? Thanks!
Problem, I try to record a seminar 1h via Snagit on an external drive 450 G free. Its stopped after 10 min saying ": not enough space on the disc which is of course wrong. Any solution. I selected the external disc on snagit preference.
I cannot capture a scrolling window, no matter what I do. I can leave it recording the scroll for 5 full minutes. When I save it, however, it only saves the start of the scroll, not the whole thing. Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 4.7 8-core AMD CPU, 64 GB RAM. Ya-da-da-da-dah.

Whenever I use panoramic capture to try and catch more than just a very small area of the screen, the results get totally fragmented with 'pieces' of the content 'scattered' into parts of one another. This is horrendous. And there doesn't seem to be mentioned anything about this in the FAQs or forum posts. And this happens regardless whether I scroll *very* slowly and wait several seconds between every mouse roll, or scrolling down at normal/fast speed. The screencap results get twisted with vertical lines 'recurring' in fragmented bits.
That should not be happening. Is it a webpage you are trying to capture? If yes, try a different browser. Hi Chris, in my selection pull down it does not offer me Scrolling Window, only Panoramic. I'm using a Mac but have used Snagit on my Windows machine for many many years. I have the latest version of Snagit, v 2021.4.4. I've gone into Preferences/Capture/Capture Permissions/Fix Capture Permissions and Scrolling Capture is Enabled. Any suggestions for me? Thanks.

my interface is not like yours. i can't figure this out.

Correct. You can legally install Snagit on two computers with one license. You can even install on a PC and a Mac.
Can't draw shapes with a dotted line..... this request has been coming from the user for years!!!! :-(
