Welcome back to Innomoto, riders! Today, we’re diving into the iconic Yamaha RD 350 LC with a modern twist. Yamaha's concept designers have reimagined this classic bike in two versions: the Retro RD 350 LC and the Modern RD 350 LC.
The Retro RD 350 LC captures nostalgia with its classic round headlight, chromed steel details, and a streamlined black and red fuel tank. It offers a pure riding experience with analog gauges and a leather-upholstered seat.
The Modern RD 350 LC, however, brings the spirit of the original into the 21st century with aggressive lines, an aluminum frame, LED headlights, and digital instrumentation. It features advanced tech like adjustable suspension and ABS for superior performance.

I owned and raced the original RD. For my money, there has never been a better street motorcycle than the RD. I'm ready to sell my first born kid to get my hands on one of these in retro please.
I love the look of the new concept bike, I'm a die hard RD owner that has had many from the old 74 tour conduction through to the 82LC that was port and polished and had expansion chambers put on it!
Nasty piece of equipment.
All I can say is let's not muck around before the fun police ruin the world !
Please yamaha, let's put a banshee motor in it so we that have a true appreciation can upgrade to 900cc and be very happy in life with out any other wants so we never get depressed!

Cool question-are two-stroke engines gonna make a comeback? With all the new tech and emissions rules, it’s an interesting thing to think about. The Eco facists are killing 4 cylinder 4 strokes with ever tightening emissions standards (yamaha R6, R1, V-max) in what universe do you think a 2 stroke engine could pass the draconian emmissions standards imposed by the EU?
