Water companies (manager's)should be made to swim amongst what they put in the sea , and get it in there eyes, ears, and down their throats,

The government are not even looking at this problem, all water companies should be fined for allowing this to happen.
All they care about is their shareholders.

The government is to blame for this scandal. Also, the amount of fresh water that leaks from the out of date water infrastructure is terrible too!

Great idea to protest, the video is shocking. Are the water companies entirely to blame though? What about
People who pave over their front gardens? When heavy rain cannot soak into the soil it has to run into drains and end up with the sewage. I wish a massive tax would be put on those who pave over gardens without leaving at least 2' border of soil on 3 sides. It would not only reduce the volume of clean waste water mixing with and diluting sewage, it would also help prevent drought and maybe even subsidence. More moist soil is better for many reasons.

Pretty much proof of how broken our economic / political system is. But at the end of the day, it's the people getting those dividends through their portfolios and pensions who are the ones who can do something about it
