Very interesting discussion. Nice here from an honest trader. You deserve to succeed. 👍
Thanks for answering my question again. I’ve currently got a couple of watches with the yellow watch shop. Got the idea he was repairing them himself (maybe he does certain things and outsources others.) Is my first time trying him so will see how it goes!.. I’ll echo your shoutout for Tictoc in Hatton Garden - has been fine when I’ve used them.. I’ve actually had positive experiences going direct with Cartier, Patek and Rolex in and around Bond Street. So I wouldn’t rule them out for standard things. I would be careful with vintage though as you never know what they might replace (as you flagged.)
Really interesting honest video. Refreshing to watch. thank you
Love your honesty and transparency, a rare trait amongst watch dealers. Please never change. 👍
Stefan mended a complicated repair for me.....really nice guy as recommended by James Kibble
Here's a question. What's the least I can expect to spend on a precious-metal dress watch? Vintage or new.
Like your approach 👏
I’d definitely be interested in seeing pre-owned jewellery for the Mrs. Vintage isn’t necessarily her thing but pre-owned neo-vintage stuff would be cool.
Question for the next vid James
If you had your own watch brand what common mistakes major watch brands make would you look to avoid in your own?
Question for next week - what’s the watch you could’ve bought that you most regret not pulling the trigger on.
GADA is an interesting one. I’d look at it in 2 ways. GADA as in a daily watch that you didn’t mind getting beaten up/scratched to hell - I’d go for a Seiko Alpanist. If you are looking for a luxury GADA the Omega aqua terra.
What watch do you think it’s the best investment for £5000, also what’s your thoughts on vintage Tudor watches?
I think you should sell your Kibble Watches watch pouches.
