Hi Helen, lovely podcast. It was really great to see your beautiful makes. Your ripple blanket is beautiful. Your vertices unite is very pretty. Your finished socks are fab too. 😊
I’ve watched this episode in 3 parts while I’ve been building ikea flatpack! Thank you for keeping me company 😍 I’m coming to see you at The Wool Monty!! Jen and Georgie and I are coming for a Saturday visit 💃
Helen, lovely podcast as usual. Looking forward to another update on the studio as what we can see looks good. The wool Monty show in Sheffield is something I have been looking forward to, hope to see you there!
Hey Helen. I am so so in love with your blanket. I need to make one. I have seen the pictures of you with the minis on instagram and thought about the advent preparation. Because just the minis club was a lot I can not even imagine how you did that at home with all the advents🙂 Hope this year will be double joy: with your colors and a lot of extra space
Thank you for a wonderful visit with you again. I’m glad that the new studio is working out for you. I love your rainbow mini blanket. I am still looking for a knitted blanket pattern to use mine. I don’t want a “main color” other than the minis, and I don’t want to seam a lot of pieces together at the end - still looking. I thought about using them in the Giddy Yarn Triangulum blanket I’m working on, but I don’t think that idea will do either set of minis justice. Thinking, thinking . . . Until next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
So pleased you have settled in and you have made lots of progress on your WIP’s. My eldest is hoping to go to Sheffield University this year but it’s a 4 hour trip. Have a great couple of weeks x
Your Vertices Unite is looking amazing! I can't wait to open my Hogfather advent in December, I'll have to hide it when it arrives. I love a rambly podcast 😅 the Magna Science Adventure Centre looks amazing, even if I can't go to The Wool Monty in going to plan a trip there to take my son, he'd love it!
I can't wait to start dyeing the advent! I keep getting frustrated that I can't fit it in yet 😄 I've bought the yarn for my test run, but clubs and mini preorders and wool monty prep keep getting in the way 😆
I do have spares of Jan-May if you would like to catch up with the club. Bases are limited but if you want to catch up drop me an email and I'll let you know what's available. No pressure though.
That show is in the middle of my 2 weeks off from work. Whilst I'd love to go, I'm just not sure how I could get there. Glad your studio is working out for you.
@@GiddyKnits TBF this 2 weeks off, wasn't planned at the beginning of the year. It was a last-minute decision, as I was starting to feel some burnout from work. But with everyone else's having time off. It was the earliest I could take off. If I had planned. I would have likely chosen to go to the show as my 1st wool festival. Rather than go to GSOY in Oct. There's always next year.
I’ve been researching yarn shows and The Wool Monty comes up as a good shout generally, I’d really appreciate peoples recommendations and opinions on the different yarn shows around the UK, as if I want to go to any I have to plan travel from NI.
I’ve had the Vertices Unite in my queue for ages but I still haven’t got round to knitting it yet. I’m in Yorkshire so The Wool Monty isn’t that far for me 😊
It's a lovely show too, so we'll worth a visit! I'd highly recommend the Vertices Unite, there's not many patterns I'll knit twice, but I'm already tempted by a third!
I wasn't going to enter the giveaway for tickets to the Wool Monty as I thought it would be crazy to drive up but too many people I know are going now so maybe I'll let fate decide if I should come along. 🤔
Rainbow blanket is coming along beautifully! So is the shawl and sweater.
It is so nice to hear how having the studio is making your business run smoother. I'm so happy for you. ❤
It has been a great change, a bit of an adjustment but worth it.
That latest yarn you’ve added into your shawl is beautiful ❤

Progress pasty 😆 love it!

Lovely pod cast Helen. So so excited for my Hogfather advent. The Wool Monty is not too far away for me being in Yorkshire. 😊 xx

I would love to go to The Wool Monty as it is my birthday weekend!
Really looking forward to the wool Monty! Was very sad it wasn't on last year, I had a great time there the year before

New subscriber and definitely hoping to go to The Wool Monty to help feed my new yarn addiction 😄x
I’ve never visited The Wool Monty, but it’s not too far away from me so this could be the year I get there 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻😁

purple blue and turquoise are the best colours😀
Haha they totally are!!! 💜🩵💙
Your vertices will be stunning Helen! Can’t wait to see it finished!
I'm so excited for it! Our make along has been such a good motivation!
Helen, I just LOVE your granny ripple afghan. I wish there was some way to still get that yarn!

I appreciate its a little late for a giveaway (I was only given the tickets this week) and not one that everyone will be able to enter 💜
