@@frederichfazbearingtonthefithtf? It’s a human heart, I think it’s pretty damn easy to tell the difference between a vegetable and a beating piece of meat
This is all because some dude was hungry, so the ghost just wanted her heart back. She ran after him, just to get a new heart. Wanna add something else?
Reminds me of one of those really creepy book stories. Man walked by a butchery store window and saw a liver for sale. Dude loved liver, so he bought it and had his wife cook it up for him. After he ate it, a ghost appears and asks where her liver is. The wife just points at her husband and rats him out. The story ends after he screams in terror.
Honestly, Ghost Lady wasn't being unreasonable. Man walks in, pulls your heart out and eats it, you're entitled to demand it back. I do love the mix of 2D animation and model backgrounds. The real torch light is a brilliant touch.

Just discovered this and well done. And I really enjoy the animation style on this one and Pine devil. That being said : 2:51 I knew it was a bad idea. 3:51 you got me.
The first Gothic element in Midnight Snack is the bad weather. In the video, the literal blizzard taking place leads a homeless man to seek shelter. The second Gothic element in Midnight Snack is the 'castle' element so to speak. The building itself isn't a castle, but its dilapidated and abandoned, and I assume Slender Woman is the 'king' of the place. Seeing shelter, the homeless man easily breaks in and begins walking around the place, checking for unlocked apartment doors and looking for a place to sleep. Which brings me to the third element: the supernatural. There are three main instances of this theme occurring. The first is when the homeless man enters the unlocked apartment and shines his flashlight around the room. A doll that looks like it has syphilis coupled with late stage brain cancer seems to teleport around the room between exposures to the flashlight. This is just a hypothesis, but I'm guessing the doll was a messenger for Slender Woman? Anyway, back on track. The teleporting doll has almost no purpose in the whole film, but it does set a creepy and unsettling atmosphere for the video. The second instance of the supernatural occurring was when the homeless man -I'm going to call him Jim from now on for brevity's sake- was sleeping on the couch after his unsuccessful attempts at finding sustenance. Jim is woken up by some sort of slithering noise coming from a hole in the wall, and when he reaches inside, his hand comes out with an article of protein, presumably some sort of organ. Now, I identify this as a usage of the 'supernatural' theme because the food in the fridge was rotten and there was no food anywhere else in the apartment. Why would a piece of perishable, fresh meat come from a crusty hole in the wall? The video uses this instance of supernatural to further the sense of mystery and creepiness already thickly shrouded around it. Later, Jim is roused by the same slithering noise that woke him earlier. When he looks into the cavity, Jim sees some sort of bloody, fleshy socket. Moments later, an eight foot tall female version of Slender Man reveals herself by crawling out of a hole as wide as the diameter of a normal person's arm. The two sentences above are my third and last example of the supernatural. I think this one is pretty self explanatory. The purpose of revealing a less attractive version of Slender Man was to climax the video and begin the falling action. When Slender Woman pops out of the wall screaming "GIVE ME BACK MY HEART!!", Jim is terrified. In addition, Slender Woman is mad as a bull. This brings my fourth gothic theme, 'extreme emotion', to the table. The purpose of this theme was to slather on a healthy helping of drama and tension to the remaining part of the video. Understandably, Jim makes a run for it. A nightmare inducing chase follows, with Jim panting along and Slender Woman crawling (with awful sound effects) and gaining ground. Finally! The doorway out is in sight! It looks as if Jim is going to escape after all when Alas! he trips on the door he busted in earlier and falls through the floor. Desperately scrabbling the doorframe in vain attempts to escape, a pale, slimy hand pulls poor Jim under into the abyss. Then come a series of interesting sound effects, with the video viewer seeing only blackness. A short time after Jim stops screaming, Slender Woman holds the flashlight up to her body, revealing a new scarlet heart beating afresh where there used to be a hole. The last Gothic theme I was able to identify in this rollercoaster of a video was the 'violence' trait. Slender Woman pulling Jim down into a hole and ripping out his heart classifies as violence in my opinion. The purpose of this was to bring an effective ending to the video, as well as giving the viewer some serious nightmares.
Actually it wasn’t just a slithering sound at the beginning but also the sound of a beating heart. The organ he pulled out and ate was actually the heart of the ghost woman note how she says “give me back my heart!” Also after he ate the heart notice how the doll’s eyes were opened.
i understand that he was desperate. but it still makes no sense he thought there would be any food in an abandoned building. only way i can see this happening is humanity ended.
