I had a stitching difference as well so I took them off...Now I am replacing a lens because my camera fell straight on it. Deal with the slight difference to avoid costly lens repairs.

I thought the back lens was the one with the screen.
mine suddenly has scratch in the outer sticky lens guard. its plastik quality is easy to get scratch.
i was not aware, and for days, all my video recordings has the scracth until i take it off and for the rest one month vacation, i am doing video recording perfectly without the lens guard.

Having discovered how cool a dip in the water looks, I hesitate to put these on as I don't want to be taking them off again and having to put them back on after each swim! I wish insta360 would come up with a simple removable lens cover that can be taken off and put back on without all the fuss. I'm thinking something with a hinge at the top of the camera so it lines up with the selfie stick and is invisible too. I want to protect those expensive lenses, but also don't want to not use all the features this camera offers.
Yes that would be great there is 3rd party ones you can buy and try out were they just pop on and off but I have not tried them before. Thx Colin

Thx for the comment I have found I do get more lens flares every now and then but I can normally reframe the video to not show them
Using lens guard gave me a moisture after 3-4 minutes of recording 😢😢😢
Oh really cause I never had that happen to me that may not have been sealed correctly. Only reason why I think that would happen. Sorry to hear that it happened though

Just curious, If you install the sticky Lens, can you use the rubber lens protector? also, are they glass or plastic?

Cool video, man I tried the lens guards and they were awful! :-( not sure if is just me, but I had to remove them right away! they affected a lot the image quality

1) Creates stiching issues
2) some time light diffrence betwin two lences show the video wa shoot by two lenses (awe full)
3) creates flares
over all Awe full vidio quality.
donmt know what to do.
I took them off after just a day due to too much flare and degradation.
I was surprised when I put them on my X2 that the app automatically detected the fact I had them on.
Insta360 just make things so easy for us. Thx for the comment

I have sticky lenses on my one X2... I can see them in the footage a tiny bit, but I would rather that than damage a lens bumping it on something or even putting the camera down. You can see the lenses a bit in that footage of me riding my wheel th-cam.com/video/SegQrrWX6fM/w-d-xo.html I put it here again. I found this video looking to see if you had a comparasin video between the One X2 and X3... did you ever have an X2? Apart from the bigger screen and different size lenses each side, what else is new on the X3? Also, I have never checked for updates on my X2, how do you check for them (or the X3)? I see you ride E-sk8... have you ever tried an EUC? Might have to catch up one day and you can give it a shot? I am in Poona if you are ever up this way. cheers
Sticky lens I tried it with NY insta 360x3 . Believe me it is worst. I will not suggest you to use it. Not good idea at all

@@ohcolin yeah. I accidently broke one lena after buying insta x3 the very same day so shopkeeper suggested that sticky lens , after using it for few months,I decided to not to use it ever. What is the use of getting not good output when you re buying expensive gadget:)

Save your money. They dont. They scratch so easily.
I bought a sticky lens guard last week but I am still hesitant to use it in my x3.
