AT, sorry about you ferry trips. I use the ferry to Tobago from the first to now, with no problem. The people who told you to take the James ferry were not educated or experience. From Tobago to Trinidad is usually smooth, especially with a big ship like James. Next time, fight from Trinidad to Tobago, but come back on the ferry A T James. Forty four years ago when I had my first child I took gravol and I was asleep for a whole day (24 hrs).
Anyway I sending thoughts of completely wellness, and you will bel great when you wake up tomorrow :)
Thanks for you lovely videos of Tobago and TT (Hopefully some time, you will explore Trinidad villages from the country and seaside like Mayaro and Blanchiessluse , Gande Rivera, Toco and so on

Great question; I was curious too. Some cross-cultural things happening here for sure-- e.g., someone said “pole sana” to Tigress, which I looked up. Meaning: “I’m very sorry” in Swahili. I could also mention her using green bananas to make "matoke" in Jamaica, which everyone liked.

Benne is the west African name for sesame seeds. Benne is native to Africa, it was brought to Tobago by enslaved Africans. Many Africans during trans Atlantic slave trade, would plait seeds into their hair when they were making the brutal passage during trans Atlantic slave trade.

@@AckeeEater. none of us really knows for sure when it was transplanted to the americas or whether it was transplanted to the americas but what evidence and research has shown is that africans have been going to the americas for over a hundred thousand years and thats putting it conservatively in terms of the date. In terms of the new evidence we must begin to view history with new eyes, not only in terms of slavery. The truth is the black people in the americas has been indoctrinated into a false history as to who they really are. Check out the images of the bonampak murals and also the olmec stone heads

I came on to the comments tell her that from the video it seems like she took all three tablets and they were large gravol tablets.
She should have taken only one, especially for the first time. So it seems like she had an overdose that left her drowsy and lightheaded. Normally gravol relaxes you and sometimes makes you sleep but she took too many.
Glad to know that the Tigress had a fantastic time overall in Tobago. Looks like she really fell in love with the island. Don’t give up on the Ferry so quickly. It can be a great experience once you get accustomed to it. If you still want to take gravol, just don’t overdose. 😊

Hi African Tigress, travelling from T'dad to T'go will always be rougher than the other way. It will be worst if you use the smaller boat and/or when the day is very windy. Since the prevailing winds are from Northeast, the trip from T'dad to T'go will usually be rough. The trip from T'go to T'dad however is usually 99% smooth because the vessel will be traveling in the same direction as the wind. Gravol is used for motion sickness by causing the patient to become sleepy as the main side effect. In other words you did not need it to go to T'dad from T'go but it may be needed when going to T'go from T'dad where 1- tablet should have been sufficient and none is required to head back to T'dad. 😊. NICE WORK.

@@AFRICANTIGRESSAT, you surely did an overdose from all the comments I am reading. I am seeing updates of my islands from you. Thanks! I will be more knowlegeable for my next visit. You missed a special area near to Crown Point. Did you go to Chaguaramas, Caroni Swamp Tour, and Mt. St. Benedict in Trinidad? You should also visit some of the Hindu temples in the south. If you go to the south, you will experience a lot of good food from our Indian cuisine. Doubles are just a street food.

Hi African Tigress ..I think you took too many gravol pills...and yes you should have eaten something....even though very small...but I hope you feel better...
And yes it does make you a bit sleepy...one is usually enough or even half a tablet...

I think you got that sleepy feeling from the tablets you took before your trip to Trinidad. If it was dramamine you took...they do cause drowsiness in some people. Maybe you took gravol...not sure if that makes you sleepy

AT....I am so sorry that every time ,you visitors/YTubers ,don't get the real info. There's always some little, but crucial info that's not given. OK.... when you went to Tobago 🇹🇹, you were riding against the waves. And there's a very rough area on that journey, called the' BOCA' . The ride through there is bad, especially if the tide is high. After leaving that area, you should be fine. But because that area is rough, it could shake you up real sickly. That trip up, you should have told to take the meds then.
On your way back you didn't need it. Because you're riding with the waves. That's why you find that the ride was smooth. It is not the vessel. It's the waves and the tide.
Even if you took the meds, you should have taken one. Because you took all three, it's not enough time yet,for it to wear off from your body system. The ferry takes roughly two hrs. And the meds will last much more hrs. But truly you did not need it for the trip back to Trinidad.
Sorry that you were not guided properly..

Going from Tobago to Trinidad is generally smoother than going from Trinidad to Tobago
