I've listened to hochizora orchestra for hours on loop way before this happened, which is why the song is way more off to me.
It's not that it's bad but it's hard to be used to such a drastic change after having your brain used to the original, same effect to being used to a cover instead of the original, so the original may sound way off to you, or even playing proseka on a lower speed only to change it to normal.
At first it's weird, but after sometime you get used to it, that's why it's listeners are reacting this way.
As a person who barely listens to “Hoshizora Orchestra”, the instrumentals sound more lively in the second part (first release)

It's fine if people like the new version more, but for me personally I just can't, the reason hoshizora orchestra was my fav Emu comm was because like people said, felt whimsical, it feels like i'm actually in another world and wxs guiding me in it, it fits the peter pan theme as well that I really reaaallyyy love.
Maybe I'll warm up to it in the future but honestly I probably won't listen to this version really, hoshizora orchestra is very dear to me as also to other people, so whatever version you like just respect opinions and agree to disagree
eee same c: ive mostly been listening to the colorcoded lyrics of the og full version (before the re-release) this is my favorite emu comm, and the wxs song i stream the most, so this is something that bugs me. i agree with you in the fact that the original upload had a whimsical vibe and this version just seems paler and more dull because of the beta instrumental. this song also means a lot to me c: so its hard to adjust to a version that i like less!
@@cutiesmileharuka yepyep! I do agree with people saying its dull and paler, and the fact that it sounds like a marching band which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's actually a pretty interesting concept, but with a song that has a whimsical peter pan theme the og is better at conveying it.
It's a good thing people archived it already so that people can still listen to the og, it's also nice to see a Haruka fan too:)

Also something weird that happened, I noticed that they deleted both songs on all streaming services (by both I mean curtain call song, the one we all know was gonna get deleted, and the og hoshizora orchestra) yet for some reason I still have them on my playlist and I can still listen to them without being hit with an error. Same with when the morning glory falls. Pretty weird how it doesn’t affect my playlists at all

They just unlisted them on youtube and probably on other services too, so if you have the link you can still view them normally

They did the same thing with peachy key in album version ruined the full sekai version for me, if you compare the virtual singer version on iyowa's channel to whats on the album version you can see what i mean

I’m so confundled on how I both love and hate the new version at the same time, it sounds more musical theatre-ish but it also sounds uhhh ??? I have no idea 😭 The difference isn’t THAT big but oh my gosh I got so much whiplash listening to it.

But this song makes me feel like so sad sometiems like i kinda start tearing up when i hear it bc when i first did it i was having a panick attack and sobbing in my room at 6 am (with no sleep) it was for a number of reasons but i felt like i could do anything and that i couldnt ask or go to anyone for help i felt so alone so i just started doing songs i hadnt done on hard mode (the hardest mode i could do at the time) and came to this one and this one for some reason felt so comforting?? Ig happy but it had a sad hint to it? Like when you look back at your childhood memories and they were so fun and happy but you realize you wont get those times back and that part makes you feel sad anyways now when i hear this song it makes me sad bc i get reminded of that time but it also could be that i feel somewhat comforted which i havent rlly been able to feel like that recently
