Great video! I just upgraded from a 256gb iPhone 15 Pro Max in Blue to a 1Tb 16 Pro Max in Natural Ti and I absolutely love the natural sooo much! Also upgraded my cellular 45mm Stainless Steel Series 9 Watch to the new black Ultra 2. Deciding between getting the new black variant or getting the natural ultra 2 to match my natural ti iPhone was the hardest decision I had to make so far in 2024 haha
Another reviewer mentioned probably the most pragmatic use case for the camera button and that’s bad weather, having to take gloves off in the snow, getting a shot on a drizzly or rainy day. But since I live in Las Vegas that’s N.A. 😂, so I’ll stick with my 15PM.
_When I upgraded from the iPhone 6 to the iPhone 12 Pro, its advanced photography features, like ProRAW, nearly replaced my DSLR camera due to the creative control it offered. However, it wasn’t until the iPhone 15 Pro-with its 48-megapixel sensor, ProRes 422 HQ recording in Log format, and the ability to run console-quality AAA games-that I fully set my DSLR aside. The combination of unparalleled image quality and versatility made the iPhone 15 Pro my go-to device for both photography and videography, especially since I prefer shooting in RAW to retain full control over the artistic process rather than relying on the camera’s automated adjustments._
@JamesLauricia7 kinda haha. But the rumor is apple now admitted their mistake and try to fix it, and if the government accept it, perhaps soon the entire line up will be available here.
@@everstar8056 it depends on you actually. If you think it's worth it to pay an extra money for 16pm then go for it, but if not, then save your budget and go with 15pm. You can use your extra cash to buy the charger or other accessories.
i plan to upgrade to the 16 pro max from my base 13 after a good 3 years with it, i do plan to use the camera button a lot cuz i love taking pics and vids
It's a fair question. In late 2022, I decided I'd need to pivot away from posting on X/Twitter due to concerns about Elon Musk's decisions for the platform, his treatment of employees, and the platform's deteriorating brand safety environment. At that time, I didn't have an alternative. When Threads launched and embraced the ActivityPub decentralized standard, I fully adopted it and stopped posting to X/Twitter in late 2023. Why embrace Bluesky? It was spun out of Twitter as a new text-based social media platform based on a decentralized protocol (the AT Protocol) and has recently seen a good bit of momentum. Decentralization is essential because it allows users to switch services without losing their audience, similar to switching from Gmail to Outlook while retaining all your email contacts. I believe this model is better. If X embraced it or improved their moderation and brand safety environment, I'd reconsider posting there. However, I have seen no evidence of such intentions. Hope that helps explain the decision. - Josh
None of them, by an iPhone 16 plus or 15 plus, or a Samsung Galaxy S24 plus… Pro, Ultra, etc. are overpriced models with no extra real benefit. The 120 Hz refresh rate is not useful in a smartphone, and the telephoto is like a baby one compared to a real 300 or 600 mm focal. Just marketing…
I don’t agree, I’m currently using 15 plus and I’m looking to get pro max just because I really miss the smoothness of 120hz display and a zoom camera. I could totally live without ultrasounds but I use my zoom camera very often. I used to have professional DSLR and lenses and etc but it’s nice to have 80% of the usability in package I have with me all the time and don’t need to carry a whole other backpack with me. Unless you are earning money with it you really don’t need DSLR and zoom lesnses (and they easily cost 2-5 times what those overpriced phones cost )
@ you really miss nothing, 60 fps on a 16 cm screen is barely imperceptible at regular 30 cm distance of lecture and supposing you’re scrolling vertically at full screen in 1 second. Most of people that compare 60 vs 120 Hz side by side tend just to scroll the screens at enough speed to perceive the difference, but this is not how you’ll use the phone on daily use. Remember also that iPhone screen “Pro Motion” is adaptive and as soon as you stop scrolling it will quickly reduce fps. Is more probable you will read better on your actual iPhone because it keeps constant 60 fps in fixed lecture, which gives a less fatiguing view (if I remember well, ProMotion slows down to 10 Hz when reading text). If you scroll all time when watching a long list of paragraphs trying to find some key word, or a series of images, perhaps you can extract some benefit from 120 Hz but some people find also fatiguing this constant eye movements (automatic, can’t control it) if they really scroll as fast as they can read. The late sound a little messy, just trying to see that you can scroll 2 times faster a 120 Hz screen to identify the same elements than at 60 Hz ones, and that means you’ll probably do things faster and stress your tracking mechanism of eye and sleep disturbances. From time to time I asked my girlfriend to change settings to reduce movements on the Pro models, when I’m not in the same room and can’t tell the difference. Even I failed sometimes when I go to Acccesibility menu to restore “smoother” 120 Hz and verify that was on 120 Hz. Marketing dixit …
@ BTW, if you can’t appreciate a good optic lens on a DSLR camera and miss the ridiculous 5x zoom in the iPhone, please send me your camera and I will give you my 15 pro max with pleasure… 😎
@@miguelalonsoperez5609 I can appreciate a good zoom lens on professional camera, burning also realise why it’s made - for professionals. For 99% it’s not necessary and phone will do just fine. Also I sold all my camera stuff 2-3 years ago. And after that I had two Samsung ultra phones, was genuinely impressed how far had phone cameras go in such small package that you carry with you anyway.
Thanks for posting this video

My wife has 16,200 pascals of suction power. But great video as always 😅
I have 16PM and family has 15PM. Not many differences but enough for me. Great video!
Well I decided to get 15 pro max because of the discount and not much different. Not to mention my country is currently banned the iphone 16 series.
Oh so there was no choice! 😅

In my region the price is almost same. Should i buy 15 PM or 16 PM?

Thanks Josh!
7:12 yeah sounds a little better in a quiet room maybe you should have tried a noisy street.

Im thinking about switching from Galaxy to iPhone 🤔
Whats the difference?
a lot…
Not too much.

Why use Bluesky and not X, like I'm really wondering...
