Why are there NO COMMENTS on this gorgeous, sweet harmony of praise, posted over a year ago???? Are people tone-deaf, deadened by blaring bands and atonal, repetitious, unBiblical muck??? Give us more of this please. I've been listening to and making Christian music all my life, I've heard the best and the worst, and this lovely choir is right up there with the best. @@dorkybutcute7808 Oh wow! I've listened to all the YBS songs on TH-cam, and love them all. Many of them I have known since I was a a little boy, many of them (I think) are unique to your (Mennonite?) church. I especially love the Prodigal song; I played that to a very dear friend of mine who'd also never heard it and he was weeping by the time it finished. I was in a wonderful secular high school choir, back in the sixties; our choirmaster was a Seventh Day Adventist, and most of the songs we sang over the four years I sang were sacred songs, such a wonderful set of memories. You folk are obviously (by your wonderfully modest style of dress) a conservative Christian group, could you please tell me more about yourselves?
Wonderful! I have to tell you, though. In every verse, I was waiting with anticipation for that wonderful chorus! It is almost like a marching band! ♪♫ "Hail to the king we love so well! Emmanuel! Emmanuel!" ♫♪ But... you skipped it. :-( I don't know your choir. It may be that you do not have many music readers, and that chorus is not one that can be taught easily to people who sing "by ear." Very good job otherwise!
