You might want to look into some Kavli monster blades for that type of mowing. They're made to help eliminate the bent over stragglers and are more durable.
I've been running my Kubota with chute up a lot more this year and I get about 6 to 9 feet of grass throw. The John Deere with flap up is 12 to 18 ft in same conditions. Both are good mowers.
I'll pick my Deere over the Kubota nearly everytime. I am going to be putting an in depth video out this spring going over them both, likes and dislikes. But I honestly think I got a lemon Kubota. It only really excels in inch tall grass, more than that it can't handle it. Also the blade speed seems significantly less than adequate for clipping dispersion and grass suction, I'm always leaving strips of grass where it failed to stand the grass up to be cut. Idk lol the Deere has been a WORK HORSE, maybe I'm over critical but the Kubota definitely can't hang
That's a blade issue not a mower issue. The factory kubota blades are terrible. The orgen gator blades will make that kubota cut much faster and better. Trust me.
@@shannonpaschal6435 I dont run factory kubota blades. Ive also tried the blades you speak of too. Theyre crap too! The gator blade is mulching blade. High lift work better for the type grass we have.
My 61 inch Great Dane Chariot LX with the 29hp Kohler efi and sharp blades would have made that stuff look like a tan carpet. I hog stuff like this down all the time. Tough to beat the cut quality.
Well being a guy who has used these also work where we sell Kubota I will take the kubota over deere any day of the week, shoulda went 72" with the Kubota and the blade i will say that come on them dont last that long and honestly suck plus this usually happens with a Kubota when the deck is packed with grass that had been wet and is stuck all over inside the deck High lift blade from Oregon is my preference
@Jj-uz9dp yeah I should have looked at the independent reviews. The main issue is they cut the horsepower way back so they don't have to install the dpf systems on them. And they made the ACS deck to create more suction(lift) with less power and that might be true, but there's not enough tip speed on the blade to cut all the grass on the first pass. And if the grass has any moisture from a dew or rain, then the clippings stick to the underside of the deck and you lose suction and have to stop every 30 min to clean out the deck. My JD doesn't have any issues like the kubota does

Really... interesting! I'll have to check into these! Thank you very much
My pref is the kubota, more rigid. But for comparison, lift up the side cover on the kubota as well

Man you took down a forest ✔️💯💪🏽
I sure was putting some work on them mowers that day! LoL
Good work 🍻
Thank you! It's been a battle, but I'm trying 👍
@leonardo migot I don't have a flail mower 😬
Careful you don’t catch on fire with all that dry grass getting built up all over the mowers.
That's a very real danger 👏
I just got a ZD1211 and I'm very happy with it. Which one did the better job?

@@mowfast7463my kubota also gives me the same problem. I am very disappointed with my kubota.

29hp! That thing sounds like a monster!!!
Should have used a tractor and brush hog for that field
If only I had one 👌 that woulda been ideal 👍

High lift is the only way to go
Why you guys wearing safety vests when nobody else is there?
Gotta be safe 😁
John Deere for the win, kubota disappointed me it’s setup like a tractor plus it was missing alot of grass
That's my main complaint with the kubota. Even with normal bi-weekly lawns, it leaves a lot of grass. I end up mowing the yard 2 or 3 times
@@mowfast7463 thanks I’m thinking about the 1211 even on ppl review on they say it mis a lot of grass. But fo the price you paying for it shouldn’t

I think if you lifted the side chut like the John deer it would cut better 😊
Them are great mowers I don’t have one
Thanks Levi! You kinda need a purpose for such big mowers, so I wouldn't suggest them to everybody
Is that the kubota 1211
Yes. It's a ZD 1211. I don't know how I missed your comment, my apologies for the late response.
Looks like there both not cutting good, must be dull blades, my kubota cuts better then both of those hands down
@@js4455dl I would definitely like to give your kubota a test run! Where you located? We can give it a trial

Yeah not good for any mower.. armature hour
Meh. Thanks for the comment 👍
