    Lions Hunting Buffalo is a wildlife documentary about Lion Prides of Africa Savannah's full of beautiful sense filmed in there environment and facts about lions. From mating lions to hunting buffalo and giraffe.
    This wildlife documentary was made to highlight our need to protect our wildlife for generations to come as there are only about 20 000 lions left in the wild in 2023
    Lions
    Breeding Facts: Lionesses reach sexual maturity at about 2 years of age and can breed until they are about 15-years of age, but reproduction usually starts to decline at 11 years.
    Lions are not very fertile and will mate about every 20 minutes for about 20 seconds for 4 to 7 days.
    If there more than 1 male in the pride she will mate with all of them. That way they don’t know who’s the father and she will get protection from all of them.
    Gestation period is about a 110 days.
    At birth, lion cubs typically weigh between 1.2 to 2.1 kilograms (2.6 to 4.6 pounds)
    gaining c. 106g per day in the first four weeks of life.
    By the time lion cubs are around 3 months old, they can weigh between 9 to 14 kilograms (20 to 31 pounds), and their eyesight and mobility have improved significantly. Done
    By 6 months, they can weigh around 18 to 25 kilograms (40 to 55 pounds) or even more, depending on the availability of food and other environmental factors.
    By the time lion cubs reach one year of age, they can weigh between 30 to 60 kilograms (66 to 132 pounds)
    Around 3 months of age, lion cubs may start to eat small amounts of meat that their mother or other pride members provide for them.
    It's important to note that the transition to a meat-based diet is gradual for lion cubs, and they continue to nurse from their mother and receive milk as an important source of nutrition even after they start eating meat
    lions are highly social animals and are known for living in groups called prides
    Interactions with other members of the pride, play a crucial role in the social development and learning process of lion cubs. They learn valuable skills such as hunting, communication, and social hierarchy from their pride members, which helps them survive and thrive in their environment as they grow into adulthood.

    Lions are known to be fairly inactive during the day, On average, lions sleep for about 16 to 20 hours per day.

    This is an outstanding documentary. The camera shots are tremendous. I became very interested in safari videos during the pandemic and I have been searching TH-cam for safari channels ever since. This is one of the very best docs I have seen. We had a South African family from Durban move in next door to us around 1984 and they insisted we go on a safari as soon as possible. I will someday soon and I will contact you in advance. Thank you again for your posted videos.

    And here I was thinking I'd be seeing a actual hunt and kill, but instead got mood music, and a massively edited video....

      Yeh everyone wants to see a kill but there’s more to wildlife and it’s conservation than that and most people don’t know anything about wildlife. That’s why I’m adding some animal facts to my videos and many people also study relax and even use videos like these to fall asleep.
