Japan's Rabbit Island SECRET | Ōkunoshima (大久野島), Hiroshima

- Okunoshima, also known as Rabbit / Bunny island or Usagi Jima is home to thousands of Rabbits with no fear of humans, but where did they come from? Okunoshima - 大久野島 a small island in the Seto Inland Sea, part of Takehara, Hiroshima Prefecture. It is accessible by ferry from Tadanoumi and Ōmishima. There are campsites, walking trails and places of historical interest on the island. It is often called Usagi Shima (うさぎ島, "Rabbit Island") because of the numerous feral rabbits that roam the island. The rabbits are rather tame and will approach humans.

Oh cool I was thinking of heading down that way to check out the museum and gojira zipline before exploring tokushima a bit. You have a really interesting channel, I had to remove a few suzumebachi nests in my time as well. I was hoping to make a video about the big ones but didnt get enough footage before winter hit. Where in NZ are you from? I went to uni in wellington
