Platform path warning device and views at Kauniainen railway station, September 2021 (km 15+0313)

The city of Kauniainen and its small railway station is located 15 km (9 miles) west from Helsinki, the Capital of Finland. Railway path level crossing and its light- and sound warning device is one of the few still in use on a busy multi-track main network in the Capital Region.
Almost all trains are operating track 1 and 2. Track 3 has also platform and it will be used in exceptional traffic situation. Track 4 and 5 has no platform and they are used very rarely, tracks are covered by grass and low growing bushes.
