These are so cute. I'm primarily a knitter, but with Tiffany's clear instructions I was able to crochet the Cat Butt Coasters. Thank you, Tiffany! I thought I was crochet-challenged, butt maybe there's hope.
I love that this video motivated you to crochet! There are so many different things you can crochet, it's crazy. I'm so glad my video was easy to follow. Thank you so much for watching and crocheting with me. 😊❤️🧶
Love love love everything you make, it's so much fun crocheting with you. Thank you so much for taking the to research and share them with us. You're awesome. Love from Toronto ❤️
@@CrochetWithTiffany I’m so happy 😁 I’m going for the best of the year to see what the new update will bring for me to watch this week so hopefully hopefully 🤞 it won’t get too crazy 😝 I’m gonna watch watch this show for sure and see how the the rest is is gonna turn up up 🆙 to to the the end so I’m not going for a bad bad one ☝🏻 yet yet so hopefully hopefully 🤞 it’ll come up 🆙 to a a little better soon 🔜 I I don’t don’t want it I I want the one one ☝🏻 in my house I kinda wanna do a different thing with my hair but it’s a really long hair I just 😊wanna
Oh my goodness. Thank you for the shout out!! I loved making these and love picking out different color kitties. You are amazing and I'm so glad someone finally made a good video on how to make these. It was a definite trial and error to start lol
Hi Charyse! You are so welcome! I just love the cat butt coasters that you made. And I love supporting other people and their craft. You make some amazing crochet creations! Loving your Facebook page. Thank you so much for the video compliment! It means a lot. 😊🧶🧡
Thank you so much Kelly! I really appreciate that. I try to make sure people understand what I am doing not just get told what to do. It's important to me. 😊🧶🧡
I love the cooasters!! Your instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Not sure if its my phone, but video was somewhat blurry. Made it difficult to see some of the details. But still an awesome pattern and you made it very easy to follow along!!
I'm so glad you liked it! I have a feeling with TH-cam trying to keep up with the high quality video that my older videos will start to look worse. There might get to a point where I need to re-make some of my older tutorials. I'm glad that you were still able to get through the pattern. 😊❤️🧶
So cute. Making several as Christmas gifts. I'm wondering if they are washable with the Modge podge on it. Or if condensation might go through and make the glue a sticky mess on a table. ??
Great questions Michelle! I’m not 100% about the washing of them. I would machine wash gentle and lay flat to dry. But I have used these guys with the mod podge on the back and got them pretty wet with condensation and they worked great! The stiffener stayed firm. 😊🧶❤️
This is an excellent tutorial. Love the angle of the camera, how you show and explain things and the text box in the corner. I do have a question though. I needed to make it bigger, i added 3 rows. I get how to do the increase but need a bit of help with the head, tail and feet. Since I have more stitches idk where appropriate placement is. Can you help?
Hi Brandy! I think I can help. Keep all the stitches for the head and feet the same. Just adjust the number of stitches between head and feet. If you can eyeball how many stitches where between the tail and the head and then the feet and the head you maybe you can keep that the same or just eyeball it. Laying the work down and seeing where you would want to start making the head and the feet. I think you’ll do great! 😊❤️🧶
Too cute!! I thought when I read “cat butt coaster” that they were coasters that cats sat on an scooted across the floor on!! Don’t ask me where that came from??? They are adorable. I make blankets for shelter parts as a volunteer for Comfort for Critters. I may use them as appliqués for the blankies.
Haha that's adorable! Thank you so much for sharing that. Oh wow! you make blankets for Comfort for Critters! That's really cool! Oh these would make great appliques. Love how your making them your own. 😊🧶🧡
Hi Emilia! You absolutely can use red heart yarn and a stiffener. Be aware that any yarn that is not cotton yarn may breakdown or not have quite the desired effect of a cup coaster. If you’re ok with that then go for it! 😊❤️🧶
Hi Sweet Tiffany! Will the Modge Podge get sticky or gooey if it get wet? And what about when you wash them (if something spills on them) and lay flat to dry, does the glue wash out or get gooey? These are definitely going to be gifts, but the first set is mine🤭☺️Thank You❣️
Hi Peggy! When the mod podge dries it dries hard. Not sticky or gooey at all. I haven't tried washing it yet but I will run one through the wash now and let you know how it turns out! Great question! Thank you so much for asking.
These are so cute I have two Siamese cats so I definitely am making some of these for my coffee table. I also have a pug his name is Oscar do you have a pattern for a coaster for a pug LOL I would love that as well thank you so much for sharing this. My grandchildren are really going to get a hoot when they see these LOL
Oh my gosh I love it! Your grandchildren are going to love these! I know I have seen a dog butt coaster with floppy ears but I bet it could be adjusted. Super cute idea! Will have to put that on the list. 😊🧶🧡
If you use 100% cotton yarn you can absolutely wash these no problem. I would lay flat to dry and possible even block it when it dries to keep the curve in the tail. 😊❤️🧶
Hi Meg! That is a great question. The reasoning for the cotton yarn is for the condensation or when it gets wet. Cotton absorbs and will hold structure. An acrylic yarn will start to fall apart. You can absolutely make your own Cat Butt Coaster however you want. But if you were trying to gift them or sell them it would be best to use Cotton yarn. Thank you for asking. 😊🧶❤️
Not a huge fan of this tutorial. I tried to rewind and stop and rewind and stop and I can't seem see it as I am just beginning and its going way too fast to learn.
Hi Savanna. I completely understand. This is not a good tutorial to use to learn how to crochet. More of just a tutorial on how to do this pattern. You might find it helpful to practice some of the basics first and then come back to this project. Oh! and if the speed of the video was the problem you can actually control how fast or slow my video is. Go to the video settings by clicking on the gear or the 3 little dots on the top of the screen if you are watching from a phone or tablet. Select Playback Speed. The smaller the number the slower the video. That should help a lot. 😊🧡🧶
@@CrochetWithTiffany i found how to slow it down actually! And I also found your pattern after a few tries of watching it. Sorry about earlier!I was just frustrated lol my sisters cat passed yesterday so I wanted to quickly make one haha it turned out good tho thanks again!
I’m sorry about that. I hope that changing the playback speed will help you to slow down the video enough to make sense of everything. If you click the settings on the video, click playback speed, that should help.
You really shout n I love it cos I'm almost deaf ... fantastic tituriol thanks for sharing

I don't have cotton, will acrylic yarn really be that bad to use?
