How did I miss this one? What a fun video! "Did you EVEN read the chapter titles?" 😆

When you first slid 'Felicity' into mediocre... I think I gasped. [haha] But then you put her in her proper place. :)

I'm glad Muppet Carol got perfect! It does capture the spirit of the book and uses many lines of the book's wonderful narrator dialogue due to Gonzo playing Dickens.

Loved this video!! I haven't watched several of them, but I think for the most part I agree with a lot of your rankings.

As a manly man (full of manliness), I heartily approve of the '95 Pride and Prejudice ranking

Totally agree with Mysterious Benedict. Hobbit is a fabulous movie, but ya not a great adaptation. And I think the things they change in Wingfeather Saga actually make it better!

I did really love that Janner and Sara already have a relationship in the show!

These were fun! The only Mansfield Park I've enjoyed is the series from 1983 which I thought was really good. And Northanger Abbey needs better adaptations than it's gotten.

I never understand why crucial parts are changed for adaptations - especially super popular classics. They are successful for a reason! Just make the movie like the book and the masses will love it. [hehe]

I didn’t like the Voyage adaptation, though I do like how they added the theme of temptation

I love the hobbit movies and think they’re better then the books 🤣🫣
I personally like how the movies changed the plot/characters because it added more depth. But I can see why some people don’t like that

See, I think the books have more depth, but they're also more subtle about it. Maybe that's why they changed so many characters, I'm not sure.
