- kmob's K3 beta machine, doing a tri-bed level with the quickdraw magnetic z probe. Also includes a purge and wipe at the end

This is the coolest thing I've seen in quite a while.
This would be perfect for my Switchwire.
The klipper config though, is way beyond me at this point in time
There’s a module for klipper coming in a PR, hopefully it’ll get merged soon
A bed-slinger with automatic three-point bed tramming would be quite the sight.
@@Joe_Yacketori you can level the z axis and get the tramming correct at least
I wish my Ender 5 Plus worked that well. I do have dual Z leveling enabled, but it tries five times and makes no change.
whats the difference between screwz and belt z? which one conduct better print quality?
woooow!!! innovative! isnt the probe changing mechanism made some accuracy deviation?🤔
not enough to make any difference in 3d printing
Man that's a thicc bed
Seriously cool how it leveled it out and double checked the tri-level. My only concern with such a setup is how to compensate for a warped bed? A tri-level won't give you mesh bed leveling.
You can just run a bed mesh command. In Klipper they are not mutually exclusive.
he is using a Cast Tool plate aluminum bed it'll have less than .001 run out over the entire surface.
@@boardinrider no it doesnt, wint a magnet sheet and a flexplate with pei sheet. none of them made precisionally. also heat deforms everything even castplate.
@@j.g545 When the castplate has been stress relieved the deformation is uniform. The flat surface remains while it only expands a bit.
@@boardinrider run out is circular like a bar in a lathe. You are talking about flatness.
Whoa.
Hey,nice work, i like it. I have a question for you if possible. I see you’re using M12 for the Z-axis, what engines are you using? I tried, but connecting them at the same time do not work, they lock, instead using them one at a time you. What can be in your opinion?
you need separate drivers, and they are TR12 lead screws, not M12 threaded rods
@@AnnexEngineering Yes, I have two separate Tmcs and Drivers, but I don’t understand why I have that problem.
@@gabrielehappy2775 you need three steppers to drive a tripple z drive
Really curious about the probe connection

@@JohnOCFII Thanks alot.
I have to say, as someone who uses alot of open source software in a professional setting, I really appreciate your documentation. I know it sucks to create, but I have taken to refusing to use poorly documented software packages at work. Thanks again.
Hi, Will this work with aGlass bet also? And what about RepRap and a Duet 2 Wifi, will it work with RepRap 3.3?
best probe solution I have seen in a while!!
we currently recommend klipper, as we wrote a module specifically for this (we as in one of the dev team members)
My friend, i have a Creality CR-10S (model from 5 years ago).
Based on the Annex K3, what could I change on my Creality CR-10 to make it faster and what would be the approximate speed it could reach?
Klipper with a Pi
Resonance compensation
Pressure advance
New extruder + hotend
You could reach 200mm/s
@@FireN2k9 thank you a lot!
@@FireN2k9 you help me a looooot.
Will k3 have a larger size,ike 350*350*350?
K3 is a single size printer. We recommend you build a k2 or k1 instead as they were designed to scale in volume
What's the spec on those lead screws? Scratch that, just saw in another comment. Any reason behind using such large screws. Just out of curiosity
Stability, lack of vibration in z movement. Probably to approach belted Z print quality
about how much is the annex k3 assuming i print all my parts myself
Heavily varies depending on spec, I’d suggest joining our discord if you have any specific questions
