Amazing build Congratulations I like your way of simplifying complex fonction. One of your older video helped me a lot starting with Klipper and “tilt” setup, Thanks a lot 👍
the 0.9 longbois were the best performing with the highest quality for a long time, until now. If your stepper drivers can handle it, the 2804 longbois are a solid upgrade now.
@@GoldenJaguar3D I think he is talking about the 1.8 Super Power ones that were just released for sale: LDO-42STH48-2804AHS80 (High Temp 180c With Long 80mm Shaft For Annex)
Please do more updates. I havent seen much from the channel in awhile and I really like seeing your printers. Maybe just an update on each one of them?
Nice build! I'm so jealous of ppl who actually having their own printer working, built voron 2.4 and I just can't understand why I can't program it and it just collecting dust for over a year now
Any reason not to change the design so the enclosure stops on top of the extrusion by the yellow motor mounts? Wouldn't it be better to have the motors in open air and not inside the heated enclosure? If the enclosure is going to be taller, make space for a filament roll? Same for the bottom. Can the bottom plate be moved above the motors?
You can do a rough calculation of how fast you can print with a certain MCU with a little math. Has to do with pulse rate of all of your steppers at a certain speed. So like, 200 full steps per revolution, multiply by micro steps, multiply by active motors for the move, then calculate how many pulses per second that is for the speed you're going for. And of course there's overhead for other things the printer is doing, but step pulses are most of it.
Being that you're running 0.9° motors, four of them - that's a lot of pulses lol. Reduce your microstepping and you'll get some more processing overhead back.
Is there any alternative to the LDO motors with long shaft? I could not find another brand offering such motors, that was a big letdown. I can source everything locally except the 4 xy motors. I could not even find a .step CAD file to modify the design. I do not know how many open-source CAD designers support x_t (None) for editing :(
hi jaguar i have plenty mgn12h 300 mm do you know any printer using this lenght rail. dont aant to tinker much and want to build corexy. and i have 235x235 hotbeds.
It is so fun watching the cross gantry moving around. Very similar to when I first saw a 2.4 flying gantry.
Fascination isn't it, I love it.
Amazing build
Congratulations

Thank you, I'm happy my video's help you it means a lot.
Been waiting for this episode! Love the printer!
thank you!
awesome printer, I love the colors you have on your printers too
This thing is so cool but I don't think I would have the patience for it. Good to see you got it dialed in!
Thank you! you can do it too.
Love it
Thank you!
Love the printer. I have a Voron 2.4 350mm, may need to build an Annex for my next printer. VzBoT looks interesting too

thank you for the info, they seem to be ok now but think they make 1.8 long boys now.

Yooo how’s it going? Where have you been?
on my top 3 best printer maybe one day i ll make one

I think when the K3+ comes out, we're going to see a surge in Annex printers. For myself, I'm looking at building a K2 for the bigger size.
What is K3+? I'm not able to find any information online. Will it be bigger K3?
@@radek4177 Unreleased Annex printer. It will be K3 but with a bigger bed (235 i think). It is currently still in dev.
Great build mate! 🫰🏼✨
thank you brotha
Looks sweet!
Thank you!
i think your hitting usb bandwidth limits
That could certainly be a possible, never though if it thank you.

Back to say I've started my K3 Build!!!
Too many microsteps if the board is crashing,
The video is 9 months old, did you fix it?
This is on the radar for some time just too cowardly to start it [L]augh [O]ut [L]oud. Maybe if I do the printed parts it would motivate me.
You can do it brother, go for it.

just wanted to check the cad after your video. but how do I even open an .x_t file?
sounds like a bad mosfet on the board. Did you RMA the board?
That’s a sweet machine my man!
thank you brotha!

that spool holder, can you link it?

How do you feel about the build volume? Also, this running 24v, not 48 on xy?
I don't mind the build volume, I think it could be bigger though, I'm running 24v with 2209's xy
Hi 👋🏻
Hi
If you have the money, look into building a K2 or K1. The K1 is truly the Cadillac of custom built 3D printers.
are you running 48v?
No 24v with 2209’s
Axe questions, really axe questions 😂
Is that an hbot
No, it's cross gantry XY
You good bro? You died ?
I'm hoping he just got burned out with the hobby after the K3 and he's on to bigger and better things.
Nice
