Great video! Another reason to leash your dog is to keep them from eating stinky things. I learned this the hard way. My dog ate something while backpacking the Sierras and ended up in the vet hospital. Fortunately 3000$ later he is ok. I also recommend putting a wide roll of self-sticking gauze and a women’s menstrual pad in the dog’s first aid kit. This can be used to pack a large wound. One other thing. I would have to wear a pair of roller skates to hike my cattle dog’s hike!
Yes great point. I’ve had a few snacks get snatched up that I would prefer they ignore. Glad yours ended up OK. And admittedly I had a dog that I walked exclusively on roller blades at one time as well.
