- This double line corridor will enable running of suburban services providing alternate route from the main island city of Mumbai to Karjat via Panvel. Also This Project will be very helpful for urbanization of the areas between Panvel and Karjat. There will be total 5 stations in between Panvel and Karjat. As Govt. claims the project deadline is 2025 End, in this video you will see rhe ground update of this project.

If Mumbai Pune trains come via this route instead of Kalyan will save 40 mins
Right. But there need to connect Main Line to Harbour Line. It will be more faster. Changing trains in Panvel will make passenger very hectic like other stations where such activity passengers do.

For the last six months there is very little progress because of heavy rains. It's very hard to work in torrential rains. I travel through this route every week and I have seen work going on day and night. Even the work on rail overbridge on the existing Kalyan Karjat line has picked up pace.

Karjat ke pas ye line ka ek part badlapur ke taraf connect karna chahiye.future me kalyan aur badlapur se direct local panvel ja sakegi.sath me Express trains ko bhi fayda hoga

Why IR work is not as quick as nhai project?
Nhai is autonomous body ...it does not come under ministry of roadways......which means NHAI can apply for loans quickly and it will not be count under government loans and another thing is, if you invest 1 rupee in road it will increase GDP by 1.5 rupees ....But same is not for IR. Most of IR lines does not generate profit or contribute to GDP..most people dont even buy tickets in suburban lines😐

Good good and good work,, railway is doing,, this route, and way,was required to be developed, long before, but know it is going on. So karjat panvel travel will be more easy.will increase passengers, Trains also , Railway should develop a direct track to the konkan Railway track,at the end near to panvel,track ,,so that trains coming from karjat station, Pune station will directly go to konkan Railway track, without going,to panvel station, this will reduce time travel, and more trains will go to konkan side,,

@@dadasahebkhedkar6185 kasara too… bcoz kalyan station have only main issue that is crossing and signalling for local trains coming beyond from kalyan….
@@akash_c 70% diverted trains are from Pune route.. Still crossing issue remain same for express trains on nashik line..

Can you cover the Lok gram bridge of Kalyan which was demolished in may 2019 and the reconstruction work is still ongoing l. This bridge is on the east side of Kalyan rails station and is also part of Kalyan yard remodelling
