I absolutely love the structure of this. The way that it builds up with more and more emotionally impactful moments as the song goes on, and that use of “sometimes you have to run away” paired with the respective scene, AH! IT’S AMAZING!
I still hold the opinion that finding out that Reigen legitemately cared so hard about making sure that Mob grew up to be a well-rounded adult who can function in society that he was willing to fight people who can easily throw entire buildings on him without a second thought is the biggest twist of this entire series.
That's when I fell in love with the show. Sure, there's a 14yr old kid with the strongest psychic powers on earth. But that doesn't trump the 'kid' part. He needed someone grown who cared to come and kick the psychic bad guys in the face without regard for his own fate. And he got it.

When Reigen said "It's okay to run away!" I noticed how the clips then showed Mob's true strength due to his growth and breakthrough compared to before Reigen said it. Nice detailing
The moment I fell in love with this series. It doesn't matter if he's the strongest esper in the whole damn earth. He's a kid. Someone letting him just run away, power be damned, honestly saved everyone from what he mighta become otherwise. What I'm saying is: Reigen Arataka, #1 cool uncle of the new age.
Everyone grew mob even got stronger and I love how the other claw members decided to help after being so mean and cruel in season 1 making us hate there guts now we can appreciate them as ally's I just love when villains grow like piccolo and vegeta actually legit give a shit and become good guys or alest anti hero's in a great way but it's very astionting when it happens and i just find it fantastic sometimes I like seeing a villain win like I really like the idea or Thanos or possibly Asriel winning and getting what they want they just think there doing the right thing but in the end they will know in time what it's like to lose love Thanos lines but I don't think Thanos can change because spoil warring in the comics he helps the avengers then just say hell no I'm gonna be the basstard bad guy yet again screw you avengers so that sucks but I don't think he should it's just his biological makeup he can't erase his dark god blood so effortlessly but who grew the most lastly was dimple I liked him in season 1 enough but now he actually helps sagale it's just wonderful a evil spirt that used to be big and scary to people now helps out a esper someone that originally tired to kill him now helps him though his mondane life and helps him in bad situations and again he's a ghost ball xd

Mob Psycho 100 changed my life. i had a pretty solid set of beliefs then, and even now. but more of those were changed or questioned by the time i finished the show's first season. challenged, i tried to understand. i changed. of course, we're ever-changing beings, but i will be untruthful if i said watching it left me unfazed. it left a deep mark in my mind. it was as if it got wired in my brain - and perfectly fitted, at that. my heart kept beating as always, but it was like my heart beated a completely different sound and in a whole new pace. i felt kinder. i wanted to be kinder. mob, reigen, everyone from the show, taught me to be kind. i had been dealing with very bad things and knowing to be kind kept me going in my hardest plights. kindness, empathy, understanding... i thought i had them all already, but mp100 made me realized that i couldn't even bear to be kind to myself. to be honest, i liked to wallow in my own self-pity. i used to find satisfaction in knowing my suffering, because i thought i deserved it. however, upon understanding things through mp100, i had switched my views about that. it's not like the change is actually very big, but i liked that change, even if it was in its littlest, smallest form. i could relate to mob a lot. and i had a frail heart, at that. i cry a lot. i feel pain a lot. i know it was part of being human, but i couldn't bear the pain at most times. i think i don't understand many things about living, at all. well, in a span of hours, mob psycho was able to alter my brain chemistry. the way i thought about everything, everyone, and myself. it completely became a whole new different world for me to take in. i appreciate mp100. i love the way it is. i love how it is such a deep and significant work. for me, it ranks the highest among my most-loved shows. thanks mob psycho 100, for changing me. for the better.

Two million views isn't enough for this absolute work art. The hard work on show here is beyond that which a first view cannot fully appreciate. It's more than using the original shows already amazing animation and the song used being so good. The motion between cuts is genius. It keeps the flow of motion, and even disrupts it for impact. That isn't to mention the visual storytelling coinciding with the lyrics isn't just smart, but the shots themselves tell the story of Mob so goddamn well. I wish I could I was more technically educated in cinematography and storytelling, because I feel like there's more to this I haven't appreciated.

Really incredible work! I've been working on a mob psycho amv, and had convinced myself that I might be creating the best one. I looked it up to see how I held up, and man, i've been totally humbled. This video is done incredibly. So much emotion, excellent use of the fan music track as the framework. And that ending man, that ending. What an amazing tribute. I don't think i'll be able to come close to matching the emotions you managed to capture with this. I will however, attempt to succeed in my own editing goal, which is basically to compact the plot chronologically as is relevant to Shigeo. Edit: HANG ON A SECOND It starts with Shigeo's face starting to rise, then the entire video happens, then it goes back to the rising face shot at the end. Is that a visual implication that the whole video happened in a single moment when Shigeo goes 100%? If that was the intention, that is an incredible vision for a video structure, wow.

I honestly think Mob Psycho 100 is going to go down as one of the greatest animes of all time.

Mob Psycho 100 changed my life.
i had a pretty solid set of beliefs then, and even now. but more of those were changed or questioned by the time i finished the show's first season. challenged, i tried to understand.
i changed. of course, we're ever-changing beings, but i will be untruthful if i said watching it left me unfazed. it left a deep mark in my mind. it was as if it got wired in my brain - and perfectly fitted, at that. my heart kept beating as always, but it was like my heart beated a completely different sound and in a whole new pace.
i felt kinder. i wanted to be kinder. mob, reigen, everyone from the show, taught me to be kind. i had been dealing with very bad things and knowing to be kind kept me going in my hardest plights.
kindness, empathy, understanding... i thought i had them all already, but mp100 made me realized that i couldn't even bear to be kind to myself. to be honest, i liked to wallow in my own self-pity. i used to find satisfaction in knowing my suffering, because i thought i deserved it.
however, upon understanding things through mp100, i had switched my views about that. it's not like the change is actually very big, but i liked that change, even if it was in its littlest, smallest form.
i could relate to mob a lot. and i had a frail heart, at that. i cry a lot. i feel pain a lot. i know it was part of being human, but i couldn't bear the pain at most times. i think i don't understand many things about living, at all.
well, in a span of hours, mob psycho was able to alter my brain chemistry. the way i thought about everything, everyone, and myself. it completely became a whole new different world for me to take in.
i appreciate mp100. i love the way it is. i love how it is such a deep and significant work. for me, it ranks the highest among my most-loved shows.

Two million views isn't enough for this absolute work art. The hard work on show here is beyond that which a first view cannot fully appreciate.
It's more than using the original shows already amazing animation and the song used being so good. The motion between cuts is genius. It keeps the flow of motion, and even disrupts it for impact. That isn't to mention the visual storytelling coinciding with the lyrics isn't just smart, but the shots themselves tell the story of Mob so goddamn well.
I wish I could I was more technically educated in cinematography and storytelling, because I feel like there's more to this I haven't appreciated.
I would love to see a remake of this using S3 cuts as well. I feel like it could seriously impact the emotional intensity.

Really incredible work! I've been working on a mob psycho amv, and had convinced myself that I might be creating the best one. I looked it up to see how I held up, and man, i've been totally humbled.
This video is done incredibly. So much emotion, excellent use of the fan music track as the framework. And that ending man, that ending.
What an amazing tribute. I don't think i'll be able to come close to matching the emotions you managed to capture with this.
I will however, attempt to succeed in my own editing goal, which is basically to compact the plot chronologically as is relevant to Shigeo.
Edit: HANG ON A SECOND
It starts with Shigeo's face starting to rise, then the entire video happens, then it goes back to the rising face shot at the end. Is that a visual implication that the whole video happened in a single moment when Shigeo goes 100%? If that was the intention, that is an incredible vision for a video structure, wow.
