That's a HUGE relief to hear that lol I really try my best not to create those clickbait thumbnails. I watch TH-cam as well and nothing is worse than being clickbaited... im glad you enjoyed the video. I shouldn't tell anyone this BUT I got some more Return to Moria content coming soon. Shhhhh! Stay tuned
Another one is the hammer can be used to fix buildings outside the hearth, aka that old structures bit in the video can be repaired so it doesn't look so run down if you wanted
i've wasted more time doing this than anything else lol my OCD kills me "but that ruin looks so rundown.... i know noone will ever see it and it'll despawn in the next world but.. I HAVE TO FIX IT!"
Especially helpful if you want to keep an existing structure but want to clean off debris. Using the pick has an area effect so I was often killing a structure when all I really wanted was to remove a few barrels.
@ericanderson2482 I have done this more than once as well! That was during my first 100 hours of playing before I started using the hammer more effectively
@@ericanderson2482 Funnily enough it's how I found this out. I went to swap to my pick to remove a couple barrels and pressed the wrong button and brought out my hammer and it said I could repair the wall I was aiming at at the time.
I've messed around with the new boxes and there's pros and cons. Pros are more storage but the con is the big one snaps into place so tight rows or stacks might not be doable anymore. I'll need to do more research but regardless they look great and will spice up alot of builds
Thank you so much! Its made by one of my subscribers actually! She asked I don't don't mention her name but she's one of my most loyal friends. She might end up seeing this and it'll make her day. I know it's made mine lol thanks again
Are you asking how to build the stove? I believe you unlock the stove sometime before leaving "the lower deeps" area. Most likely once you upgrade the hammer or find a crafting piece of the stove recipe
How did you manage to build such huge structures? I'm facing the issue that sometimes when I delete a wall, other building parts which aren't even connected to that deleted wall, start collapsing. For example: I deleted a wall on second floor because I wanted to replace it with a window part. Once I deleted that wall on the opposite end of my base the floors and walls broke down completely. Plus: Sometimes the building parts on first floor show up red. Then I have to replace the foundation, set it up again and then it's working for a few minutes until the building parts show up again in red condition randomly.
I wish this question was easier to answer but its quite complicated. In short the materials you use effect the integrity of the build. Also you need to utilize the support beams more often than youd think. And lastly there are little tremors deeper in the mines that will cause damage to your base if not properly supported. I hope this helped. Keep experimenting and youll get it! This is a fun game to build in you just have to give it a little more effort than most games. Thanks for watching!!
That's what I'm here for! To show you all the cool little tricks no one else has the time to figure out lol thanks for watching and I'm glad you learned something new!
Im not entirely sure to be honest. I know there a few pieces in the game that I dont think we can build and its usually the structures that go tot the ceiling so maybe not
The fact that you find my content interesting DESPITE not playing the game is a huge compliment! I watch alot of Welyn with no intentions of every playing rust so I understand
Love your fireplace accessorizing . . . great ideas! And the library!! Wow! Great logo btw! I've enjoyed sandboxing RtM after finishing the main game thread . . . it's been fun to fix up/repair some buildings and improve them, while also finding some really unique places to build bases and structures (under a waterfall in the Eastern Bastion, for one!). My dwarf has even turned the entire eastern end of Dwarrowdelf into a fortress(!) with almost a dozen doorways . . . very upsetting to the remaining orcs! Still having to clean up some trolls, drakes, and even fell beasts . . . so much to do! 😉
Yes great addition! Honestly I forgot this was a thing for a quick second until I read this comment lol I've been deep in the mines lately and I'm just coming up for air. Thanks for watching and giving your own tips as well!
First of all sorry im just seeing this comment so late but the answer is no... for now 🤔 I may actually start one just for this community. You've all been awesome and super helpful in the game and on my channel. Do you have an experience with a discord server or more specifically helping run a successful discord? With me?
4 trolls? Did you have other people in your server? I've never seen more than one at a time. As for the building on top of the "old" structures, I wish this worked better. I wish they allowed you to craft every structure that they used. I learned very quickly that this was NOT the case.
Ouch sounds like you had a bad experience with the building part? I know the pain, I built the Library TWICE! But you can make some crazy builds with patience my friend. As for the 6 plus trolls that spawned on us in that hoard it was just me and another player... who was dead as you saw lol
@@WynterFynix Yeah, the hordes have been weird for me. Sometimes, in the Elven Quarter, I have had some tougher Orcs with a troll. Other times, I have had the weak Orcs from the starting area. The kind that drop zero loot. And I have beaten the game, yet if I spawn into my base in the Narvi Forge, and a horde comes, it could be anything. Any kind of horde can show up, from the same types at the final boss, to the weakest no loot dropping Orcs. Been this way the entire time.
@leroyrussell8766 I believe the reason for the trolls was because I was in a troll area. The ones that have piles of gold everywhere. I am going to try to recreate it and if I do watch out for that random video lol
at first, I thought this video was clickbait and would give the most obvious advice like, but these were great tips! thanks dude!

Interesting. I haven't tried that yet but will give it a try for sure! I'm doing a new run through the mines so I'll be sure to check this out, thanks

Some awesome tips there!!
Thanks very much 😀👍
It's my pleasure, these are hard to make because I never know what it is actually useful
You can also use your hammer to repair those existing buildings. Those walls looked like they were about to fall down!
I honestly did not realize that! I guess I should have figured that when I repaired my own base with it. Good eye! Thanks for the tip!!
thanks for the tips and tricks it’s actually helps a lot when it comes to making my base and my experience a bit better good job
Thanks bro, glad I could be of service! I've got more vids cooking so stay tuned
Let’s gooo! Thanks for the tips!
I got more coming! Stay tuned
I believe with the new update coming out, yours and our storages will improve looks by a lot.

@lordkeks6744 I like you sir, you can stick around lol

"one of you guys" is a hell of a shoutout.
The new logo is SICK! Also that sky garden is now apart of my base design lol
Thanks I love the new logo too! Enjoy that new garden

or what should I build to make it open to me, such as wooden floors and walls and even stone ones
Thanks bro, very creative.
Thank you so much! Always love when my work is validated like this
hello, can I ask for your advice, I don't know how to open the wood and stove for construction
Are you asking how to build the stove? I believe you unlock the stove sometime before leaving "the lower deeps" area. Most likely once you upgrade the hammer or find a crafting piece of the stove recipe
cool, I figured it out, I just had to build a small heart of fire and that's how things with wood and stone opened up for me thanks
Ahh yes you need a basic level hearth to open up all the building tabs. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but thanks for watching the video!

Any idea how to unlock recipe for orcish medicine and hopgoblet lager brew?
Complete the rangers diaries in the areas to unlock new brew recipes
@@WynterFynix I know this but do you know in which locations I should look for this two recipes
I don't remember specifically but I feel like I got hobgoblet at the beginning of darrowdelf maybe.

Can you build the pillars that are destroyed at the first and second camp? i just want them to look the same as the other pillars

Dude, seriously. Either turn up your voice volume, or turn down your background music volume. But good tips man!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll make sure to pay attention to the volume next time, and thanks for watching!
