In terms of distance and angle control, catching the kicks and capitalizing on the opponent's mistakes it was a pleasure to watch. Interestingly enough, Lida managed to blitz (walk down with punches while changing stances - please, excuse me using such terminology) his opponent - even though Kyokushin practicioners are supposed to excel in that aspect (I've sparred with them for a while when I was actively training, but my understanding still may be incorrect, I'm sorry if that's the case). Congratulations to both you and your student!
