- Finally got my Copa America champions patch from Soccer Wearhouse so that I can complete the look for my Argentina shirt! Similar to my applying patches video, I will now apply these patches to my authentic Argentina shirt using a home iron! Let's hope I don't mess this one up!

Hey! Love this video. About to iron on the World Club Cup patch for Chelsea (got it from soccer warehouse, too), what measurement did you use when placing the premier league patch on the sleeve in your last vid? When you measured up the sleeve with a ruler. Came to this vid because of the cup patch but have the sleeve one too.
That’s a great question I think the PL patch was about 2 1/2 or 3 inches from the bottom of the sleeve but I also was eyeballing where the players have theirs on their kits

Hello, I've seen some videos recommending putting a cardboard inside the shirt and putting a sheet of normal A4 paper and not baking sheet. Have you already tried this method?
I bought some patches to customize my shirts as well, but I'm a little scared of doing it, I'm thinking about the best method to use.
Yes, cardboard inside the shirt helps especially if you don’t have an ironing board. Small piece of cardboard inside the sleeves would also be best when putting on sleeve patches. I haven’t tried A4 paper just baking sheet so I’m not sure on that one.
I feel you it was scary for me to do it at first but it only gets easier the more you do. I suggest maybe starting off with a jersey you wouldn’t mind ruining

Just curious do you like getting the patches placed exactly how they were worn in game or whatever you prefer personally? Right now there's the 2 star with the Qatar Patches on the sleeve that they wore during the World Cup and the new 3 star with just the gold World Cup patch on the chest during the trophy ceremony.
I'm torn between just adding them all on or being picky about how it was worn in game. Nobody cares probably except me but just wondering what you think. Hopefully this question makes sense.
Yeah makes sense! I think in the end it comes down to preference. For me, I want it to be exactly the way it was worn. As a collector I want my jerseys to be as authentic as possible when adding patches. To me when you add a patch that didn’t exist on a certain jersey then it can come off as fake.
A good example, my friend bought a Man City jersey with Premier League patches on the sleeves but they were suppose to have the Champions PL patches but they made a mistake and they put just the regular PL patch. In doing so, it made the jersey look fake even though the jersey and the patches are authentic.
In the end it’s, you can do whatever you want with your jerseys! It’s for you and only you to enjoy! Hope that helps!

How to buy the patches
May be a dumb question is there adhesive on the patch? I tried seeing if there was adhesive but I was just ruining the patch
These patches should have adhesive. If they don’t then it’s probably not an official patch.
Now, regular non soccer patches (for example a Batman patch) those can be either iron on OR sew on meaning if won’t have the adhesive in the back.
I have a 2014/15 manchester city shirt which necks legends is peeling off but I'm scared to iron it, idk it's like "what if I mess it up"
Yeah I know what you mean! It’s like “well it’s already damaged but what if I do MORE damage” haha maybe I can do a video where I test out ironing name sets / patches that are peeling off and see what happens!

Don’t judge me…. I haven’t washed it since making this video haha to be fair, I’ve only worn it maybe two or three times since and it was only while watching games at my house. I haven’t gone out in public wearing that jersey since making this video lol
@@nutmegcityfc No lol I wouldn’t judge you. Just asking because I ordered the copa America patches from soccer warehouse for the 2022 World Cup Jersey. But at times I’ve had soccer patches tearing off after so many washes. Although I don’t dry my jerseys in the dryer just air dry.
@@JesusHernandez-ks2xd yeah I would assume if applied correctly it should stay on! One things I usually do is wear a T-shirt under my jerseys just so that if I end getting all sweaty or whatever it’s more on the T-shirt and not the jersey that way I avoid having to wash it often lol

You can remove it by peeling it off while it’s still hot from the iron but it gonna leave a mark

Yeah I had one start to come off but redoing that processes of pressing it down with the iron will stick it back to the jersey

I got the jerseys straight from the Adidas website when it first came out. The patches I got from SoccerWearhouse.com. Soccer Wearhouse also had the jersey with all those patches already on but they sold out. Hopefully they’ll have more in stock soon!

@@liltyke6127 as in make sure the patches actually belong to that jersey. For example, you wouldn't put a qatar world cup jersey on a italy jersey because they were not in that world cup. Another example, if you have an Argentina jersey with the world cup patches, you don't want to put the Copa America winners patch on it because that's not how it's worn.

I did the same i purchased a 10$ Real Madrid jersey from my friend it was official merchandise and then I applied that fifa club wc badge to it by buying it for 2$ and my friend was begging me to sell it back to him for 100$ dollars😂😂and guess what I sold it back the purchased another real Madrid jersey for 70$ dollar official from eBay and applied this badge on it by buying it for 2$😂😂

Yes two stars because this shirt is from 2021 when they won Copa America and the patches are World Cup Qualifiers patches when they were still playing games to qualify for the 2022 World Cup lol
