Syntell, nature may not care who caused the 'tipping point', but the reason the BRICS nations raise this point is because the 'developed' nations are the very reason why we have a climate crisis. The G7 is basically asking the rest of the world to pay the price for their greed and need to dominate. It's also insidious that the developed nations have a large chunk of their polluting industries in developing nations and then act like they're concerned about the environment. So it's not fair. While the world has to collectively bear the responsibility, all this proves is that the so-called developed nations do not want to relinquish their power. We see through their hypocrisy.

Yep nice idea, developed nations abused the nature all they can to come to where they are now, we need to develop too but if we only focus on ourselves nature will be abused in the same way as by the developed nations during their developing times resulting in more destruction of nature. We need to sit down together and come up with a plan rather than charging taxes or doing what is better for us(indians or other developing nations) overlooking the destruction happening.

The Us citizen might think that the bank mostly benefits top dogs and not the common people but if one compares interest loans condition on asian and western countries, I'd just give one example that recently it was in "trend" for many farmers to suicide in India just because they couldn't repay loans they took for raising crops either because the market was in the recession or the crops failed... so yeah it's cut throat interests for asian economies, the common westerner is in MUCH better condition.

Finger pointing can go on for eternity... I mean just check the per capita carbon emission (carbon emitted by 100 people of any country). You will find USA and UK and EU on top. Which means, still, 100 people of the (say) USA are emitting more carbon than 100 people of China or India. Which means, still, 1 person of US consumes more resources than 1 person of India. And it's not a little bit, it's a lot... like 2x or 3x.

But US banks profiting has been one of the reasons for a powerful economy because of trickle down effect, they might be helping the one's that are becoming successful but the successful one's are reinvesting in the market. The car, home and student loans that have shot up right now are just the norm in India. I was shocked to see such low interest rates when I moved to US.

Weirdly, America threatens Saudi Arabia with consequences for withholding the output of ITS OWN OIL. It's their oil. They would obviously withhold it to push up the profits.
America should be reducing its dependence and demand for OPEC crude oil, which would crash its price and hurt OPEC, as it did with its shale oil (2008 crisis) and export ban (1980s crisis). The US has MASSIVE RESERVES of Crude Oil within its territories, and by withholding exports, it can manage itself with some non-OPEC sources. So why does America go so back and forth with OPEC, getting humiliated and being forced to intervene in the Middle East?

    • @hbhatt

    • @prabhatsourya3883

USA will not fall down completely, but it will lose its prominence in the world stage, unless the US can form a multinational cooperation with other nations (although, looking at the way Trump goes on about it, and the chance that Trump might be re-elected, I wouldn't bet much on US cooperation). The technology is being adapted by other nations, a lot of the "vibrant minds" actually came from other nations, which would reduce if the US loses prominence or just "closes its borders". MNCs would keep an office in the US for running activities in the American zones, but it would not be the Head Office anymore, with other offices in Asia becoming more prominent.
India might not agree to strengthen China, but China will also climb down, because they want cooperation (at least in terms of trade), so there will be a reasonable level of cooperation to ensure economic growth.
Also, just because India is a part of BRICS never meant that it was distanced from USA, EU or other nations. BRICS is just an economic trading bloc, which allows for better price negotiation, and to prevent economic exploitation which the rich countries attempt to practice.

The problem is not about tipping point here. India is at the forefront in fight against climate change. But as part of various Environment conventions, all the developing countries demand technological and financial support from developed countries as a way to compensate for their cumulative contribution to climate change. But here too, the west instead of obliging to the commitments made by them, rather levies taxes and duties on the developing world

Economically what a currency is now backed by is the balance of debt to a country, but what it feels like people make different calculations when printing money and use different basis when calculating inflation.
What all countries need to do is come together calculate their valuation in terms of industries cash flows and debt and use that to set a base total amount of currency and print base off of that that pegs the value of currency and from there just like bitcoin or any other crypto split the value of currency when there’s no more left to circulate so now value of dollar will be half a dollar so you can keep printing more and cost will be just 2X

You are right when you said all kingdoms fall. Once India was the wealthiest country on the planet, then came China, then US. I see things moving in reverse direction from here. First China will overtake US and eventually India(because of huge proportion of young people and demographic dividend) in the coming future. Every thing is moving fast these days. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

What makes you think Russia is a permanent friend of India ? Russia also started supporting India only because Pakistan took USA's side in the Cold War and USSR needed to expand it's influence in South Asia. As you yourself said, Russia is no permanent friend of ours, we both had common enemies, and hence the cooperation. Nowadays Russia is dependent on India for it's oil sales and sustenance of its economy.

The thing about Carbon emissions is that its more like a paradox than a tipping point. Developed countries like US, UK dont manufacture their own stuffs. They outsource it to developing countries cuz its cheap. As a result Those countries huge manufacturing causes carbon emissions. Even though I can say India doesn’t emit carbon like US/China. & indian per capita carbon emission is pretty low ( keep in mind India is 1.4 billion). Now obviously if you do more in house manufacturing its.difficult to kot emmit carbon. But again Us companies manufacturing in countries like India / China provide jobs to the people.
On the other hand US gets to use stuffs at more cheap prices ( compared to their own manufactured goods). Even then US emmits.more carbon than India.
So basically this Environment thing is something that only one country cant solve. We cant stop development cuz Environment change is inevitable & its regular in history of earth. So to slow it down All the nations must come together & despite of lecturing others focus on how to share new Environment friendly new technology & make that affordable to all. Cuz for example being a Swedish with World class electric facility with Teslas You cant lecture a Child in Africa that sorry mate You will have no electricity for another decade cuz it will damage environment. Renewable energy is real deal but its not going to replace.every country so rapidly ( specially the developing nations). Cuz it aint cheap. Not everyone can buy a Tesla.
But i know for a fact that The world leaders wont come together, they will just fight among each others.

From a geopolitical view if SA joined BRICS it would provide SA with access to a market of over 3 billion people, this would enhance its global influence, also joining BRICS would allow SA to diversify its economy therefore reduce its reliance on oil exports, but joining BRICS could lead to disagreements due to political/economic differences between SA and the other member countries. Let's not also forget that becoming member of BRICS would require SA to adapt to new trade ruls and regulations, this could pose a challenge for its governmental agencies, all I know is a new era of global power is coming as emerging economies like China, India, and Brazil etc..rise in prominence and challenge the dominance of the US and EU.
