My best friend has an mt09. And they are both very similar in power now they are both remapped. His mt09 used to lose out at the top end before the remap, (something to do with limiters in the higher gears)
those mt09 are torque monsters! love them too them triples are insane sounding

it fluctuated between 7.6-7.8
Are you running the stock 17/43 sprockets, and have you had any dyno tuning or an ECU flash?
i have stock gearing. bike is full system, tuned, filter.
