Victoria Wood: A look back on her life - BBC Newsnight

Funny, but also poignant and deeply serious. A great performer, but also an award-winning writer. Victoria Wood sadly died today at the age of 62. Stephen Smith took a look at her life and career.

For me, Victoria Wood With All The Trimmings, her Christmas Special of 2000 was probably the peak of her work. I remember watching it with my family back on Christmas Day we loved every minute of it. Along with Dinnerladies and Acorn Antiques - pure comedy gems.
