It's 'jolly decent' of her to attribute Julie Walters with much of her success,though I rather suspect she'd still have reached the dizzy heights she's achieved on her own.VW is incredibly clever at recognising the rich talent within those she selects to work with.Yes she has her 'core team',Barlow,Imrie,Preston,Reid etc,but even those who have merely a 'walk-on' part in her shows are pretty much well known in their own right.Such is her popularity,everyone wants to work with her.

I think it was inferred that Petula was young when she has her, but maybe not THAT young? Was Bren's age ever stated in the show?
