    I've just uploaded my first ASMR camping video thanks to inspiration from Rob too and now watching yours I'm super keen to get back out on the bike moto-camping again 👌🏻. It really is the best life, I enjoy the solitude of it!

    Just watched the vid. It is just so peaceful, especially if you're the only one camping at the site. What a good one!

    Wow! Loved the video and it made me subscribe. I have a '21 Himmy and hardly ever ride my Goldwing now.
    I've never camped but enjoy taking my Himmy out to the National Forest (Sam Houston or Davy Crockett). I pack a lunch and drinks. After an hour or so of riding around, I'll find a nice area to stop. After spreading out a tarp, I'll have lunch and listen to some tunes on my phone and Bluetooth speaker. Just pack it all up and head home after an hour or two.

      Thank you Billy! I'm hoping to get in some more National Forest rides off the pavement this season. Coffee on the mountain sounds pretty good... ;)

    Nice moto camping video. I really like the production, music and editing. My wife's family is rooted in the area between Anniston and Gadsden and I have a fondness for the Alabama woods and water. Thanks!

    That was a very relaxing and enjoyable video. It looks as if the trip was relaxing and enjoyable too.
    I bought a G310GS a couple of years ago for my 60th birthday with the intention to go on solo motorcycle camping trips. I've taken some very enjoyable day trips, but I'm still working up to the overnight trip. Next month!

    • @advmike
      @advmike  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Much appreciated! I highly encourage you to "make the leap" and go for a trip on your bike. For me, it grew my confidence and opened a whole new reason for riding. Stay safe out there!

      @@advmike - I was planning a 120 mile round trip to the Daniel Boone National Forest for my first overnight motorcycle camping trip, but Moto Giant is organizing a camping trip to the Hickory Flatts Cemetery in northern Georgia in a week or two. I'm going to try very hard to make that trip. It's a 700 mile round trip for me.

    • @advmike
      @advmike  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Liberty4Ever DB is on my list. Maybe next year.
      So many good roads around Hickory Flatts! Richard B Russel Scenic Hwy (348) is not far from there.

      @@Liberty4Ever and of course we ended up in Helen GA instead. Lucky for me I love that place.. although if we could’ve gotten the bikes to the cemetery, camping there would’ve been pretty epic as well.
      Hopefully we cross paths on one of Don’s (Moto Giant) outings, or on any of the other ADV adventures I end up on. 👊🏽🍺

    Great video. How do you like the Tourmaster gear in the rain with that removable rain Liner? I have the Alpine Trek version, haven’t gotten it wet yet… also, what is the length of that axe and where did you get it?

    • @advmike
      @advmike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! 🙏
      The liner held up ok but the jacket and pants stayed damp for several hours. I’ve since coated with Muc-Off water sealer and I definitely bring my over-top rain gear with me.
      The axe is from Harbor Freight. I think it’s a 15”. Not the best but extremely affordable. I will be upgrading to a Hultafors soon.

    Your videos are really well done. I just bought a 2022 Himalayan as well. 2 questions for you Mike. What kind of boots are those? And are your jeans motorcycle jeans or just standard jeans? Thanks! Wade

    • @advmike
      @advmike  ปีที่แล้ว

      Much appreciated! Congrats on your new bike! 🙌
      The boots are made by Trip Machine but sadly they no longer make them. I’m probably getting a pair of Forma Boulder boots soon.
      I wear Tourmaster riding pants. The jeans are just jeans. 😁
