@simon corbett so why exactly Charles needs to copy him 24/7? :) I'm listening. And since Davie504 can play anything that you send him, I don't really think that they are worlds apart.
@@ondrejsmejkal1100 Charles is pretty new to making videos so it's only reasonable that he takes some inspiration from Davie (pretty much the only really successful bass channel on youtube) I really dont get the problem his fanbase has with admitting that there are actually some better bass players than him, there's always someone better, but that doesn't make Davie any less of an incredibly skilled bass player.
@simon corbett It sounds like you have missed quite a number of Davies videos. He doesn't just do memes - if you want more focus on playing then you should look at older videos.
Charles you’re an alien. That was fkn Badass! Your ability to take a song and improvise it into a cool bass piece is like something I’ve never seen. The funk section that starts at 1:38 is brilliant! Well done! You’re a musical genius!
Now THAT was friggin COOL Charles!! I was wondering how you would accomplish the devils part and you nailed it perfectly with a little bit of Bass spin to it!! I have a suggestion for you for your next album or maybe a series here on your channel - The former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley had done a cover song on each of his latest albums and his fans loved it and wanted to hear him do more, so a couple of years ago he released an album simply entitled, "Origins - Volume 1", he is supposedly working on Volume 2 right now. You doing this song and how cool it sounds made me think of that Origins album and the thought of you doing something similar. You take the songs when you were younger that you enjoyed listening to and that inspired you, and you perform them all on a bass with your talent of adding your own twist to them. Now I realize if you did it on an album format you would have to pay those other artists for their material, so maybe just doing it as a series here on your YT channel might be the easiest, and cheapest lol, way to get this music out. Hey, if it is truly successful here on YT then maybe you might take the gamble and do an album and pay those artists. Anyway, it was just an idea I had and BTW mister, you made it as far as Georgia but couldn't drive just another hour to the Alabama line and hit us with some "Sweet Home Alabama" on bass? What's up with that? Lol, anyway man, I truly enjoyed this one!! Great job!!
I met you at Georgia Highlands Charles. I loved your performance. I'm sorry you couldnt have a bigger crowd.
