I am from Sierra Leone west Africa I never knew Africans were in India. Thanks a lot, brother.
Thanks for the lovely comment and here's more: The Arabs were the first to bring Eastern Africans to Asia (many to India and Pakistan) as merchants, carpenters, soldiers etc., however, a few years after African trading and working hand in hand with the Arabs; the Arabs decided to capture Eastern Africans for cheap labour and that was the birth of African enslavement. The Portuguese and later the British joined the slave trade years after the Arabs; this information is narrated in one of the videos. These African people were brought by Portuguese to Goa as slaves. Later on Many fled Goa and settled in Karnataka and Maharashtra. Many remained Christians and some became Muslims and Hindus. In Maharashtra a place called Sawantwadi 20 kilometres away from Goa there is a big community of African Indians ( Sidis) living. You should go and visit them .....all the best
... We are all one big Indian family.
Undivided by difference of bodies, we are united in soul.

I was confirming something and I found out my fears to be true ,those are definitely bantus.Who are the Siddi people of India and Pakistan?
The Siddi Community of India and Pakistan - African American ...
African American Registry uses this month and date from 628 AD to affirm the Siddi people. They are a Black African ethnic group from India and Pakistan descended from the Bantu peoples of the East African region. The first Siddis arrived in India in the 7th Century at the Bharuch port.

Greating from rwanda
Hello my brothers and sisters from Rwanda! Thanks once again for liking the video, please share and bring friends to subscribe ❤️
Am surprised who they learned English 😊
Most Siddi villages only have one school that's either a nursery or primary school, and high school is very far for them. The only village that speak English are Christian villages. They are certainly forgotten and it's a sad reality. When I met the first African Indian, I actually thought the person was a tourist just like me but no, the person wasn't a tourist but an original African India and proudly so.
The West stole Africans from West Africa and shipped them to the Americas and Europe. And at the same time they stole Eastern Africans and shipped them to Asia. thanks for liking the video, please share and bring friends to subscribe ❤️

Indian African siddi to Gujarat girsomnath 8000 people
I will see them soon
Offering food is very much our tradition from the Carrie an Islands All african
I think the offering of food is our African DNA. Only the label 'black' separates us because if we were to unite we will threaten the West
Good informed video
Thank you ever so much, I did the best I could and there is nothing better than living with the people for a few days to learn more about them, thanks for liking the video, please share and bring friends to the channel
Isn’t it possible to sit down with some elders in the community to tell us their history? How do the other Indians treat them when was slavery abolished etc etc
It is possible but most elders speak a mixture of Konakani, Marathi and Kanada language. I will visit them again and try to get a translator who can speak those three languages, so the elders can tell their stories. Every Siddi person did mention on many videos that they have never experienced racism in India because Indians are brown and some are darker than most African looking people. In my travels I have found that Indians who are a bit racist are those born in the West and not those born in India.
A big thank you to all my African brothers and sisters for subscribing and watching this channel from all over Africa. Thanks for liking the video, please bring all your friends to subscribe to the channel ❤️
They are all happy Sidhi Indian. Most of the community are Christians ✝️
Siddi villages are amazing as they have Christian villages where everyone is a Christian and they also have Siddi Hindu and Siddi Muslim villages but those villages are mixed. Feel free to use any of the links below the description of my videos if you would like to help ❤️ Thanks for watching the video, please share and bring friends to subscribe ❤️
You should ask them if they are getting government jobs bcos all the villages you went they're under developed
Very few Siddi people have government jobs such as administration and teaching.
Their village is better than most villages in India. With the present growing population i suppose its not possible that every people of india can get employed 😂 the question should be, " Are they getting any help from the Govt for development of their village? "
black people are badly treated in the world. Oh my brothers and sisters make me cry
That woman speaks good Marathi .
They are Indians with India values hence their language is marathi and konkani, thanks for liking the video and please bring friends to the channel
WOW 😭❤

Lovely people.many of them look mixed
Thanks for watching the video, please share and bring friends to subscribe ❤️
They proudly addressed themselves as Indians, but I doubt if the government accept them as Indians. I used to think that Indian is a civilised country until I see this people.
They have Indian citizenship, they are fully Indian with African features, amazing people ❤️ and most of them embrace their African ancestry
This sadly depicts the injustices that were meted on our black people in Africa during pre and colonial periods.....and still continues to date!!
Thank you and here's more: The Arabs were the first to bring Eastern Africans to Asia (many to India and Pakistan) as merchants, carpenters, soldiers etc., however, a few years after African trading and working hand in hand with the Arabs; the Arabs decided to capture Eastern Africans for cheap labour and that was the birth of African enslavement. The Portuguese and later the British joined the slave trade years after the Arabs; this information is narrated in one of the videos. Well done Kemcho. I suspected that there were some black people in India but I thought they were originally Asians. I was never taught that they were taking from Africa and had been previously used as slaves. Strangely, they are never mentioned or talked about. They must have been transported from the east side of Africa. Typical of Africans, they appear friendly and religious. There are also some Indians in South Africa, they were imported to work there by the British colonial government.
Check my community post for more info, I have covered a bit more on Siddi people after reading so many comments. Thanks for watching the video, please share and bring friends to subscribe ❤️
Did you find schools and hospitals for them?
Here's the story of their schooling, hospitals and grocery stores:
Most Siddi villages have one school; an infant school or a primary school
No high schools in Siddi villages. The nearest high school is some 15-30km away and that means they have to walk some 2-5km from their village to the nearest bus stop, then take the bus to the bigger town where they attend high school.
Upon completion of their high school education, they have to travel some 150-350km to Bangalore for college or university, unfortunately, Siddi people are very poor and they have no money for such transportation or accommodation for those kids who wants to study. Check out my old channel that was dead until the Siddi series revived the channel. Siddi videos are not making any money on TH-cam, so in the past 28 days, this channel alone has earned less than $30 with over 20 videos and that's because these are videos about India. What' more important to me is to show the world our forgotten people. I would rather be broke but stay true to myself and bring content that show the forgotten people
Hospitals and grocery stores are some 15-30km away, which means Siddi people have to walk 2-5km to the nearest bus station or ask a neighbour who has a bike for help, so it's not easy for them, thanks for asking

I love Gujarat and I will visit again. The Gujaratis kept calling me Kemcho Charlie so I deiced to start a YooTube channel with that name
Come my friend my hometown
Why are they denied education?? Only speaking Hindi
They are not denied education. Education is free in India, however, high schools and colleges are too far for the poor to get to. Siddi people live in remote villages that are between 1-5km walk to their nearest bus stop. Some villages have a nursery school and or a primary school and that's it
The sidi people were not brought there by europeans. Africans are the first explorers.
😌
Can you help SIDI kid to come to The USA? Ask them , Please. Oh my people, they do not have any great heath conditions there.
Of course I can help Siddi kids and anyone go to the US or any other country where they can get a sponsorship to further their education. It is sad that most young Siddis only hold primary education because high schools are too far for them to travel due to poverty and lack of transportation from their remote villages. Feel free to contact me using links provided below the description of any of my videos, thank you ever so much, I hope you have subscribed ❤️
This process might take a month or two but I can do it because the Siddis are our people. We will have to work together on this, funds will be the main obstacle but we can discuss all this using my email (provided to all my videos)
There were black Africans in India before slavery trade. They are the natives. The whites and Asian came after the Black.
