      I agree those Siddi community are marginalize, might not have the same opportunity as other Indian, but not on the level how idi Amin treated the Indian community in Uganda, despite the fact that those Indian were living there over 100 years. Indian community face discrimination across African continent, including South Africa, so I think You should stop blaming Indian for being unfair. Indian are trying to improve the condition of All Indian living within the geographical boundary of India.

    • @RJinspire
      @RJinspire  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      India does try to treat them better but it isn't enough when they are only provided with a nursery or primary school and no high schools in their villages, so they have to travel to the nearest town for high school (did you watch the video when the kids are running fast to catch the bus at the bus station th-cam.com/video/LAfiGIcY35Q/w-d-xo.html). What pained me was learning that the Siddi people are not living but existing 🥲

      Thanks for the lovely comment and here's more: The Arabs were the first to bring Eastern Africans to Asia (many to India and Pakistan) as merchants, carpenters, soldiers etc., however, a few years after African trading and working hand in hand with the Arabs; the Arabs decided to capture Eastern Africans for cheap labour and that was the birth of African enslavement. The Portuguese and later the British joined the slave trade years after the Arabs; this information is narrated in one of the videos. Thank you for such a lovely comment, well appreciated. It is unfortunate that most Siddis are very poor but united. They rely heavily on farming and growing their own produce, a skill passed from their African enslaved ancestors. Imagine how painful it continues to be for the Siddi people who wants to visit Africa just to see where their ancestors were stolen from and hey can't do that, a very sad reality. I plan to start a PayPal campaign to raise money for some of them to visit Africa, and any donations to this channel's PayPal account should have a note as follows 'Siddi Assistance to Africa'. This find was one of my best achievement, especially seeing their happy faces on my arrival, amazing [people and very hospitable. The Siddi people have gone through a lot in their lives and they do feel differently when another African looking person visits their villages, however, they are very welcoming and express sadness when a visitor leaves their home or village. They are fully aware that they are African and that they have African ancestors. What I found both sad and intriguing from most of them is the confusion and frustration of not having the slightest idea where in Africa their ancestors might have come from, thanks for liking the video, please share and help raise awareness of the forgotten African Indians, the Siddi people of India!

    I love you my friend. Although I know already a lot about Siddis having read Indian history in detail, you have taught me three times as much about these precious people from Africa. The greatest warrior king of India in the 17th century, Chhatrapati Shivaji knew and respected them. He willingly took many Siddi soldiers defecting from the Muslim armies. The great Siddi warriors helped Shivaji Maharaj win many battles against the nawabs of the Deccan who ruled southern India brutally. Look this aspect of Indian history on line. Shivaji and the Siddis. Thank you and wish you all the best. Contact me if and when you come to the U.S. Google my residence in San Mateo, CA.

    These people are absolutely spectacular and beautiful. It’s sad to think that they’re a forgotten people. It’s so great that you are showing them to the world. Do these people have a displaced feeling to you? Considering that they were slaves, kidnapped and abused, they are out of their natural habitat, right?

      Hello stranger, you haven't been around here in a while 😂 Well, they treated me like a long lost relative, welcomed in every home, ate with them, stayed with them and it felt like I was home even though I was a stranger. I didn't know there were African Indians in India and learning about them made me return to India and I am happy I did. Most of their ancestors were slaves and these people are jut happy to see another black person who comes from a different world. I have so many videos to upload so stay tuned because they are coming soon, you will have to binge watch all these videos 😂😘

      The saddest thing is that they were treated unfairly by previous governments but now things are getting much better for Siddi people even though they live in remote villages where buses can't get to their villages and they have to walk for 1-2km to the nearest bus stop. The saddest thing was that the previous Indian government stopped Siddi people participation in the athletics, maybe in fear that the world will know that there are original Indians of African origin in India

      A lot of these people were slave traders on behalf of the ottomans too, so assuming they'll feel a sense of home because of seeing another black man is stupid. Most Siddi communities have adopted the local language and culture of the area, but they only marry within themselves (which is ironically an extremely Indian thing to do).

    India has a problem of racism especially against dark skinned indians, or so-called the untouchables which has its roots in Hinduism. Otherwise india has interesting things to offer to the world such as yoga and aryuveda. Even Jesus was once a scholar in India, and, in one book i read online it is said that he rebuked the brahmins for this practice of racism against other people.
    It is sad because india is one of the countries which supported South Africa especially at the United Nations during the struggle against apartheid but unfortunately was practicing apartheid against dark skinned Indians at home.
