Now THAT is what I love about DEP. Spontaneous music that just explodes right out of the gate. As a former live performer myself, its not easy moving that much whilst playing that fast and complex riffs. Incredible musicians and performers.
so many good moments... jeff rushing back to the green room, ben re-tuning his guitar mid-song, liam pushing greg and fan back into the crowd. killer footage!! at the start- who is the creep??
Sound quality, of course, soso... but DAMN good ole memories coming up. Saw them live in Zurich. Man, they're... just... don't know... no words for that stuff.
Mastodon is an excellent example of how to write structured songs, and why do people care that I dont like this band, im a nobody, watching this vid was my first time hearing them, gave em a chance and dont like them who cares about that.
@toby56 actually there the most structured songs ever. If they had no structure the song would change all the time. And even though i dont like black metal, it is structured as well. All music has structure otherwise it aint music
i like all the people on here that knock this and say theres no structure because they dont understand whats going on. thats what pop music is for right?
@markeesdeath once you mentioned disturbed i lost all respect and credibility to anything you said.. Dream theater was awesome up to scenes from a memory.. everything after did not impress me excludeing the glass prison.. plus thier singer is absolute trash.. looks like meatloaf but worse (if thats possible) maybe if dreamtheater got together with disturbs vocalist then they could start to compete in todays scene outside japan
Love how they go from super-relaxed to absolutely mental at the drop of a hat.
i love how he fumbled the mic in the first 3 seconds
