With eco ive learned adding water on the brush before using it stops flaking and helps with shine. But to much water will lessen the hold and ur hair will dry out / mess up quicker.

Question, does anyone else suffer with the puff getting smaller as the day goes on? I dont mean hair shrink i mean the elastic band/string moving slowly upwards..?
Try using a shoe string and once you get the desired puff size use Bobby pins that way it won’t pull so much on your hair and the Bobby pins will make it stay

I did this hairstyle all last summer cause I cut my hair 2 years ago and they grew alot since but not the way I like it so I did his hairstyle with my 4c hair
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing. Now if you want it straight for a French Twist or a bun do the following. I have the same hair type as you. I like it straight from time to time with no heat involved. After shampooing my hair I apply coconut oil mixed with several drops of Rosemary Oil and brush through my hair. Then apply the gel from one of my Aloe Vera plants and brush all of my hair upwards and put a little cloth elastic around the hair that looks sort of like the stem of a pumpkin. While the hair is slicked up with Aloe Vera Gel and still wet I wrap my head in a Wrap Strip, put on a scarf and go to bed. Voila! The next day my hair is straight.
