Laptops like these that have two fans completely runs my laptop over. I have a HP pavilion gaming laptop with a gtx950m, it has one fan and gets to at maximum 79°C with a cooling pad and 100MHz overclock. On stock clock with cooling pad I get around 68°C. Right now I get some fps drops when playing battlefield on 1920x1080p. I'm going to tweak the settings a bit to cool it down to not risk any potential bottlenecks that may cause the problem. My littlebrother recently got a new laptop, a lenovo idea pad 700, same specs like mine: i5-6300hq and gtx950m (but not overclocked) and without cooling pad he gest at maximum 52°C. These temperature are when we play Overwatch.

I have the i7 + 1050Ti version and I highly recommend this laptop. As you can see in the review the build quality is not perfect, but it is not too bad either. If you want a good laptop for this price, you need to compromise. If you want to use it mostly for "games and stuff" I think you can chose the i5+1050Ti version. It is cheaper and you won't notice the difference.
im glad ive bought this laptop rather than gl503 ...ive compared those 2 the only downside of lenovo is battery life and screen which is also not that much difference...but performance wise with price this is the best, the cooling especially is outstanding
Very good review! Extremely good performance for the price you pay! From here on, I will only buy gaming laptops with at least two fans. That doulbe fan is required for gaming on 1080p with decent temps and no bottlenecks. I wonder what HP thought about when they made the Pavilion gaming, one fan with gtx950m? I like it but I think the laptop would be much better with a 1060 for a tad bit higher price, so that the settings could always be maxed out. IPS on a gaming budget laptop is very impressive though, so I think the good outweighs the bad. Wish there was an RX480 laptop variant since that would work swimmingly with the budget nature of this. Overall I think this laptop is very capable, and it is cheaper if you have never built a Gaming PC and want all peripherals (monitor, keyboard, bluetooth etc). Keep in mind that you can't upgrade anything though, so you get what you pay for.

I tried to follow a few tutorials on how to use it but it didn't work, so I have to try something else.
