Those arrow squid with the skinny tubes and shorter wings are more preferred than the other squid with body length wings over there by the locals for Sailfish live bait if I recall correctly.
I’ve been watching for some time now. I started commercial fishing in 1983. I got my first offshore charter boat in 1994. You’re the only fisherman that can keep up the enthusiasm like me. Shaws big sword, that’s amazing to see you working with him. I love the thrill of light line fishing for Sailfish but you surprised me by being somewhat irresponsible with the last rig you used. After all the talk about leaving line training out behind after a cut off, then turn around and use such light tackle. You talked about the importance of getting the fish in healthy too. Please don’t take this negatively, I’m just pointing out what I see as a fellow captain. Also you couldn’t communicate with the crew. I do wish I could have seen their reaction to the dredging.😂 I don’t believe it’s ego but why take that much of a risk when you’re so conservation minded? I have so much respect for you for what you bring to the camera and thusly the world. I get just as excited as you. If we ever fished together we would have to give out ear plugs.
