Their are many other fish that can spine you, including very common fish like bass, bluegill, etc… Then other common fish have teeth and can deliver a nasty bite like pike, musky, walleye, etc… its just a risk that comes with fishing. Most fish can potentially hurt you in some way, thats just how it is
