Since 2013 *BAND-MAID* played live 497 times and in 2016 they played 102 shows or servings and in 2021 was suppose to play at Budokan but due to the pandemic this broke *BAND-MAID* heart as they loved playing live for their fans. In 2022 the restrictions was lifted and *BAND-MAID* set sites on a 13 city US tour. During that tour *Kanami* was so moved by the reception that she wrote a song on the tour bus and the only time when you did not see a smile on *Akane* was their last stop in Chicago where she had tears of joy.... Yep they are a band that love playing live. In the beginning there was a small pigeon 🐦 who met a guitarist 🎸 who played with a drummer 🥁 who went to school with the bassist 🎸 and then tricked the singer 🎤 to join the band then the small pigeon 🐦 asks the guitarist 🎸 please teach me how to play the guitar 🎸. The Story Continues.
Your correct about their stage *presence* , it's not *just a show* . They genuinely enjoy playing for their fans and each other. Thanks for your continued support of the band! 🤘❤🔥🤘
In order to get the full effect of this song you should first react to the official music video, which is a trip all in itself, and the other official live video of Don't You Tell me from 2018, I think it is. It has a slightly different battle between Kanami and Misa, but still a five-alarm fire. The music video shows off some of the idiosyncrasies of the group's member, lol. It's a real hoot.
I love how Misa's bass thunders through the song. As for the drummer, Jimmi Page of Led Zeppelin saw them live in 2016 and had to meet her. Understandably she thought someone was playing a joke on her.
You are right that their smiles and attitudes are sincere. Make no mistake, they work extremely hard and take their work seriously. But they cannot restrain the joy they feel when they play together for their fans. Three songs in and over 120 to go. If this were a typical rock artist, after three songs you would have a pretty good idea how the rest of their material will sound. Most bands find the formula that works and they build songs with it. Not Band Maid. I challenge anyone to listen to these next 3 songs and name another group of musicians who could pull it off: “Black Hole” “Blooming” “Daydreaming”
Thanks for the reaction and comments. These ladies are FIRE!!!!! Arguably the best live rock band on the planet, their stage presence, energy, and joy are unrivaled. It's Band-Maid doing Band-Maid things. Enough said. Cheers!
You should try "From Now On" (Music video) and "Hate?" (live -- an intense break-up song, but with even more extensive duel between guitar and bass than "Don't You Tell Me")
This guitar/bass duel has, for me at least, a totally different feel than the one on hate? live version. There's somehow more ambience, probably due to the underlying synth tones, and I'm trying to figure out when, or if, I've heard something similar before. And by "before" I mean the past 50+ years. This duel actually makes my heart weep in gratitude.
Check out Electric Callboy if you haven't yet. They are German. While most of their current songs are in English, they do sing in Deutsch in their older songs.
Don't You Tell Me! Oh, wait! You just did. 🤘😂Now, let me tell you something: Some say the Carolina Reaper is the hottest chili pepper with a Scoville Heat Index of 2.2 million. Nope! It's Band-Maid with a whopping 200 Million View index! 🌶🤘🎀 Thx, FTM!
You are not wrong. they really are like this all the time. You will see this as you travel down the "Pigeon Hole." They work very hard to make their music and do it right and when they get on stage, they just have fun. It helps that they know their fans love them and have their back. If you really want to have your mind blown, check out Dice/Hate? from Lollapalooza 2023. They fuse 2 songs into the most badass rock thing I've ever seen. But whatever you watch of theirs, you truly can't go wrong. They are that good.
Having seen them live, yeah, they are great at the showmanship, but, as you say, it's easy for them to convey energy to the audience, because the energy is REALLY there. The crowd-band feedback loop is intense with Band-Maid, 100%.
They love their fans and they are really great friends. The fun on stage is real. I've seen them many times and each time is a blast! Keep rocking with the Maids! PO! 🕊 🤘😆🤘
Band Maid is really amazing LIVE: you don't miss their performance on stage in "Domination" and "Hate?" I would also like to recommend you, about great live music, another incredible all female japanese band: LOVEBITES. They are other five super-talented ladies playing various genres of metal. Believe me, you will not regret.
When you see them staring at each other or crowding around the drummer they are playing a game called "Hengao" or strange (Funny) faces, trying to mess each other up. One amazing Japanese band down so many more to go
This is another "Breathe Saiki, Breathe" song. 😂 But she delivered it in a total Rock n' Roll style. This is also Saiki's "Don't you dare tell me I'm a bloody pop singer" song imho.
Is the next reaction going to be in spanish performed by three sisters who just recently had ramen with Bandmaid's drummer and bassist? :). thanks for the great reaction
Band-Maid really does enjoy being on stage ! This concert was over three and a half hours long =) and its on DVD as well ! Thanks Band-Maid and Nice Reaction Man
Try (HATE?) from the same concert!!!!! Turn on the captions when they are available to help understand the songs to the fullest!!!!! Another band to check out is "LOVEBITES" any song they don't have a bad one!!!!! A lot of reactors start with (Holy War)!!!!! Thank you for what you do!!!!!

Don't you tell me... You comment in other people's posts? Surprising ;) lol
Thx Vambot.🤗
🤘🤘
Another reactor to you...Roger must be quaking in his boots...you are coming to take away his Ambassadorship.😂 PO! 🕊
When you see them live, you feel like you are part of the show. They love their fans and show it !
Your correct about their stage *presence* , it's not *just a show* .
They genuinely enjoy playing for their fans and each other.
Thanks for your continued support of the band!
🤘❤🔥🤘
Rumor has it they added Saki to the list of owners of the Building after this event. BECAUSE SHE OWNED THE PLACE THIS NIGHT!
They are a pigeon, a gorilla, and a barefoot assassin, but they are all hams, Po!
Band Maid will never let you down. Best rock band on the planet
It is hard to tell who's having more fun, the band or the fans...
It's a collaboration!
Akane was born smiling.

I've seen them live three times, twice in 2022 and once in 2023, and can't wait for them to come back again.
MISA MISA MISA!!!!!

This is a great live song. These young women rock the hell out of this world especially live!!!!!

Don't you tell me that this isn't Gary's favorite song!
PS: I love it, too!😁

The greatest band on the planet right now. Great reaction and keep supporting our Maids. Thank you.
Hey that’s the song Gary cowrote with Miku! 🍺😁🤘🏻
Rumour has it that he wrote the lyrics for Miku and as a reward he starred in the music video and can be seen in the closing shot of the video
Yes, It was done during a break from one of their weekend tennis matches.
😂😂😂
@@grahamreed8774 Who won Po! *Love* / *Love*
The title was inspired by Miku's initial response to Gary proposing lyrics.
They love their fans and they are really great friends. The fun on stage is real. I've seen them many times and each time is a blast! Keep rocking with the Maids! PO! 🕊 🤘😆🤘

New sub! Don't let me Down by stopping your BandMaid reactions!
