You asked if the guitar/bass trading solos part of Don't You Tell ME was in the original version. Answer: there is a guitar solo, which is incorporated here, but this is an expanded version for the show - which adds a guitar/bass showdown, or "conversation."
Great reaction and the singer Saiki wrote the lyrics; there was a lot of cheating occurring during covid lock down in the press at that time and Saiki was pissed. The singer LISA (a friend of drummer Akane) was also affected by this as her husband was caught cheating and created a big scandal. So while it's not exactly about a particular person, it did affect friends of theirs. Saiki has the reputation of being a very direct person and speaking her mind when something bothers her. New sub.

Thanks for the reactions. Three very different songs and yet they all share an intrinsic quality that is uniquely Band-Maid. These ladies are arguably the best live rock band on the planet. Their stage presence is unrivaled and is at a level most other bands only dream of ever achieving. Looking forward to your next B-M reaction video. Until then...Cheers!
First, lead guitarist Kanami writes the song. Then, rhythm guitarist Miku or lead singer SAIKI expand on the song's image and write the lyrics.
As for "HATE," SAIKI wrote the lyrics because she was filled with anger after hearing that her friend's husband had cheated during the pandemic.
Kanami, who always writes songs, tried to get the other members to write songs as well, giving each of them homework. Kanami collected phrases and melodies that the other members had written, and wrote BLOOMING based on them. MIKU wrote the lyrics.
I love how they all partecipate in the creation to the songs and encourage each other to learn and create!
Don't you tell ME was #8 and HATE? was #27 out of a 33 song setlist that night. And it was a glorious night.

Great reaction Princess B. Love seeing reactors totally enjoying and being amazed by the Maids. "Blooming" continues to be in my two top songs, and it is a composition masterpiece. To answer your question, the bonus for their Masters and Princesses for attending their Okyu-ji's (what the Maids call their live concert, which translates to "servings"), are extended/added solos and intros. The conversations between MISA (Bass) and Kanami (Lead Guitar) in "Don't you tel ME" and "HATE?" Official Live Videos are added solos, at least most of it. As impressive as they are, unfortunately only a part of the solos are in the original recordings. Keep rocking with the Maids! Their portfolio is deep and diverse. I think you’re officially a Maidiac now! They are sensational in every way, aren’t they? I’ve seen some of the best rock and metal bands live in my 58 years and I can say that seeing Band Maid live in 2022 is way, way, up on the list of best concerts I’ve been to. Up there with legendary bands like Rush, and Yes, in terms of musicianship (though, yeah, the styles are very different) and, in terms of a fun live show, second to none.
Your reaction of happiness, B, and of not being able to stop smiling, is exactly the reaction I still have after listening to Band-Maid's music for four and a half years. The joy their music creates is totally real and completely infectious. After the solo in "Blooming" where Miku sings, "Far away/Take me somewhere far away," the Maids have already taken me far away to musical heaven!

To answer your question the bass and guitar solos are not on the original recordings they were added for the live performance. And you just happened to pick two songs that have them

It appears you are using the speakers on you laptop to listen to the music may I suggest afterward listening to these song with head phones or ear buds their music is so Intricate that PC speakers does not do it justice 🤗
For the ultimate listening experience I suggest attending a concert.
In-ear monitors for me -- inexpensive these days even. I miss lots of Misa's intricate and awesome bass on small speakers. Misa's sound is also best felt as well as heard -- so live (best, twice!) or at least a stereo I probably can't play without being arrested 🙂

Few songs with 'hate' in the title and lyrics showing obvious disdain for the target of the hate, can make someone smile. I think it's partly because all the Maid's music makes one smile, and partly because I am, for sure, not the object of their hatred. Excellent reaction.

and like some others said grab a pair of headphones. and for your first reaction with headphones I suggest Puzzle Live the mix is so good in that video. sounds better than the studio version IMO.

Exhausted? For their 10 Year Anniversary Tour finale they played 33 songs for over 3 hours. You should check out the very last song, 'Endless Story'. It's very emotional. But no, the Call & Response "Battles" aren't part of the original songs. They're added for the LIVE performance. The one for 'Don't You Tell ME' isn't even the best version. For that you have to track down the Zepp Tokyo LIVE concert. It's the 9th song in. It was taken off TH-cam along with the Studio Coast stuff ahead of a DVD release and was only on the Chinese site Bilibili. Some of it has come back on the Instrumental Maid Channel.

The reason you don't see their faces for the first part of blooming mv is because of 2 reasons 1 they wanted viewers to concentrate on the music and 2. A lot of people didn't think they were playing the songs (miming). To counteract that they put out a few videos of them playing in solo of cover songs Akane covered a Maximum the hormone on a really small kit and blew people away as the song is very complicated.
Hate? is allegedly about a girl friend of Saiki (Vocalist) who husband had an affair with someone during lockdown. Saiki wasn't too impressed as you can tell.
Oh I didn't know this, but I imagined that it could have been difficult for them at least at the beginning. They probably had to fight a lot of prejudices
You need to work on your audio. You are louder than they are and lacks bass, which I need for my dose of Misa!
