    I absolutely love this video and can't wait to watch the others. I've already passed on the link to two other people. They are so relaxing. Please keep them coming. Our quilt group gets together this weekend and I plan to share with them because we aren't limited to just quilting. Thank you so much.

      @@cookingjennfer But this is not (imo) slow stitching, its embroidery or doodle art, and very satisfying, I have done some myself. The artist is working to create a finished piece, slow stitching is about the journey not about the destination.

    What floss do you use? It doesn't look like the DMC 6 strand.... I have a hard time finding the Aurifil embroidery floss on the spools that don't separate. This is beautiful.

    • @cookingjennfer
      @cookingjennfer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So … the problem is that I had a zillion skeins of embroidery floss from probably 20 years ago and I wrapped them around those little plastic bobbins. I didn’t write the brand or numbers but I’m sure most of them were DMC. I learned later that you can pull the end straight from the skein but it’s too late for those ones. I also have some that came on spools and those are Anchor brand. I’m showing what I’m using in my more recent videos and I have uploaded a video with a quick view of my threads and floss. th-cam.com/video/nzjI6F0ChaA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=luCI-7rAM9pYO5K0

    I went to your blog and downloaded the bird images - they are SO cute- I wanted to leave a message there but I don't have a blogspot. I am watching you do the bird first, then will watch the rest of this video. I do have a question about the frixion, is it a 5mm or 7mm gel or marker? or does it matter? Thank you so much.

    • @cookingjennfer
      @cookingjennfer  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I hope you were able to make a bird! It’s a heat erasable pen. I believe 7mm.

    • @janekrut2799
      @janekrut2799 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@cookingjennfer Oh, thank you so much - I used a frixion pen but it didn't erase, so I sewed over the line - that worked. I'd like to send you a picture - but not sure how. Anyway, my trial bird is teaching me a lot! I love them all!
