I know I have problems with the tires swelling in mine and it ends up chewing up the body panels. I'd like to have heard what he's done to keep that from happening on his.

There is a way to remove the body and cage assembly as a unit by undoing just twelve screws (there are videos on TH-cam explaining how to do that). This gets you complete access to the chassis to perform upgrades or maintenance. I used that method when I recently upgraded the rear suspension on my Baja Rey, and it saves a lot of time and effort.
I bought my BR about a year ago and quickly learned the body AND the cage can be removed at the same time by removing half the screws.
Where did he get the spare tire setup? Id really like that setup on my baja rey. Cant find it anywhere, all i can find are the flat dual spares.

Definitely can’t go wrong with reefs servos and vitavon. I also really like treal hobby products, vitavon and treal make great 7075 aluminum products. Beautiful truck man Neil kills it every time he builds a rig my favorite is his LCG belly dragger Toyota truck.

Love my Baja Rey. For my non-electronic aftermarket parts, it's almost entirely a combination of Vitavon & 949 Design. Arthur (Vitavon) does AMAZING work. I've got Vitavon on several vehicles...Baja Rey, X-MAXX, Ryft, just to name a few.
Yeah, it makes so much sense in these scalers. Quality stuff.

Man now I think it’s my transmission. Going to call support once I see what wrong. I bought this over the UDR and now I can get my boy one for same as 1 UDR.
I bought one. Love it so far. Rear drive has a problem out of the box. I can stop the rear driveshaft with my fingers upside down. I guess it’s the output shaft but not far enough into it to see. I realized there was little to no drive after nosedive and front roll 3X but I feel it will be RAD on 3s with my problem fixed. It was surprisingly fast on our modest short course which has patchy grass and super tacky saturated dirt. We do have a nice 180* 4’ bank curve though!

Drive on plowed ground stock and it seems right at home. Front stays down and works way better than jumps like a real desert truck.. but I changed mine too lmbo
I really like the 1/10 Baja Rey, but sole reason I'm not sold to get one is because Losi has a pattern to discontinue their models and parts will be difficult to access.
They are already starting to discontinue it. It's on Clearance Sale over at Horizon Hobby. I was about to buy this until I read your message and realize you're right
Yeah your right. They discontinued an amazing truck and only some of the 2.0 parts will work not all😢. So sad. No more Losi for me. Hope I can continue driving this platform for years as I own 1 shelf queen fully built baja rey that will never see dirt❤

One of the best trucks you could buy, i own 3 raptor.. horizon has now replaced it with the 2.0😢 -not the same.
How do you put the sway bar on the vitaton axle on the Baja Rey

Love Vitavon and aluminum everything but stop at arms. Seen way too many bent chassis cause of them.
Non flexy arms can bend the chassis? Makes sense on big hits.
@@RCReviewChannel yeah, on the 2.0 SBR seen a few post in the FB group in regards. Love the look but these need to be run hard and fast. Side note: they make a new bulkhead for it. Tranny really gonna be bulletproof 😎.

Could one lock the center differential in these using the same lockers you would for the front or rear diff? Asking becaise im getting a hammer rey here soon and want locked cemter and rear diffs maybe lock the front
Not sure if there's a kit. Most gear diffs can always be locked with putty or jb weld.
@@RCReviewChannel took me abit of searching and not giving up lol but turns out vitavon makes lockers for all three diffs thank you for replying and for the advice :) its greatly appreciated love your channel btw first one i check for reviews on anything im looking at, that black rhino is sick!
