This ice cream stays soft in the freezer even a couple of days later and doesn't seem to get that "crystally" texture that homemade churned ice cream seems to get after a while. It does melt quite quickly once out of the freezer, so scoop and serve immediately. This is some flippin' good vanilla ice cream.
You're an international treasure Tammy. I've been watching you since I was about 6 or 7 and I'm still here after becoming a college boy. Not being able to make some of your recipes has been killing me since I got here. That said, you will always be one of my top 10 comfort TH-camrs and I could never thank you enough :)
omg i had no idea you were still uploading! i obsesseddddd over your videos when i was 10-12! i am 20 now and hearing your intro brought immense nostalgia! i loved watching the “making food that looks like other food” and the cakes you would make for your son!
I watched your videos a whole bunch back in 2012 when I was in elementary school, the intro song will be forever engrained in my head. I'm glad to see you're still making videos, will always be a channel I hold dear and near to my heart.
You’re alive! 🎉 I’ve been watchin you since 2014! And I now have a 3 year old daughter and I show her your rainbow food cause she loves rainbow we love you so much yoyomax in 2024 is insane you’ve been at this for years! We love you
I definitely remembered seeing your homemade vanilla extract video. I know that it does take some time for the vanilla beans to soak inside the liquor in the glass bottle.
I just love how authentic and true she is. This channel is seriously a TH-cam treasure for cooking and baking. I also love how she is using the same music she used in her videos years ago, while really adds to the nostalgia. I am 21 and in college but I sometimes like to flock to these videos whenever I’m stressed, bored, or just on break. Tammy, just keep being you! 😁
Tammy, your videos are always so calming and nostalgic for me. I began watching you when I was 9 and now I’m 21. These remind me of when I watched your videos with my mom and sisters way back when. Thanks for sharing, we’re so happy you’re back! :)
There are at least 6-8 servings in this recipe. The amount of alcohol per serving is less than 1/2 tsp. I doubt this amount of alcohol would have any effect on a child (unless it is an infant maybe) but each parent will have to make that decision for their own kids. I'm not an expert on this stuff.

Yes, it takes a few months for it to mature.

This makes me smile, thank you !
I'd say the bourbon is for a bit of both helping with soft serve and flavour, lol. It looks delicious!
It makes me want to give my ice cream machine away, it is that good. Thanks for watching Patti
One of these days I’m gonna have to try this. I should also try your recipe for vanilla extract because I always run out.
It is so easy to make and even with the cost of vanilla beans, it is still more economical to make your own.
Interesting recipe. It looks very yummy 😋 Thanks for sharing, my friend 👍👏😊💕🤗
You are welcome ! Thanks for being here :)
Wow, looks delicious!
Thank you !

Hello Gigi!!!!! Miss you.

Is this safe for kids to eat with the alcohol?

Alcohol doesn't fully freeze, so I imagine it's to help with the texture/consistency!
I think you may be right about that :)
Man, I have not had ice cream in just about a year.
Thanks for taking the time to come over here to watch even though you won't make or eat any of it, lol! Thanks for the support
That opening **chef's kiss**
Thank you !
