The national sport in Thailand is Muay Thai. Many have been training since they could walk. I would think twice about giving them the opportunity to try it out on my face.
You know... Ofcourse he should've behaved but. Aren't security guards supposed to be professionals? Don't 3 guards know a way of controlling a guy without severe violence?
You are talking about Thailand, not the west These people are poor and probably make less in a month than your average tourist spends in a few days, they have no formal training The world outside your western bubbles is dog eat dog so you best behave, although I agree that it is unfortunate for this man to have to suffer in this manner but honestly, what the fuck did he expect?
@@andreandree4384 does that give security guards carte blanche to do as they wish? I say over reaction, because surely they should be able to restrain a violent person without putting him in Hospital. Even their complaint of a ripped shirt and bruised knuckles as a form of defence is ridiculous. I'm not defending the Russian. But there are hundreds of tourist who shouldn't be allowed to travel. But on another level if Thais allow these sorts of tourists into the country, then maybe they should be ready to deal with the consequences. I'm sure it's all the Russians fault anyway. lol. Or is it because he's Russian it's OK to hate drunk Russians?
@@999kbs Stupid comment. If someone is hospitalised of course there was over reaction. FFS. Is it because he's Russian? This was one drunk verses 3 sober bouncers! They couldn't subdue the drunk without hospitalising him?
I have seen this before, these drunken people are a bloody nuisance, if you can’t control your booze then you stand to get into trouble somewhere down the line.
"Guards behaving unprofessionally" Beat up for dancing on the stage? 🙄 "Guards" being rude and harassing people"? I'm not a fan of drunks either, but come on. I think I'm gonna take the Russians side on this one. You are gonna have people acting drunk in places designed for people to get drunk. The guards should be more professional and know how to deal with this. BTW, Thais are not always peaceful and friendly. Rather, many Thai's have a short temper and don't control their anger well.
You are absolutely right on that last point. Thais freak out far too easily. I mean, who the hell drives around with a machete? You know...just in case.
I’ve been to many countries around the world and id have to say Thai security is among the BEST in clubs bars and discos. Very polite and respectful and if you were to tip them Jesus they’d most certainly treat you like a king. So I’m sure this young man was the perpetrator of the provocation.
Well said you have to push hard for something like this to happen...but when it does its normally with security who are also Mauy Thai fighter and your going to lose, the outcome for disrespecting people here is.. game over for a tourist.
All parties are at fault here - I really think the injuries reflect an over reaction Keep in mind Thais tend to shun one on one for a group thing Though I’ve seen a rugby team punish security doing this to one of their own years back
These drunk Russian will never learn and the police continue to allow it. They act as if they rule Thailand.

Booze and drugs are always the problem.
You didn't redact the names, only the Russians name. Has this gone to court yet? Maybe you should have redacted all the names of those involved

Play stupid games win stupid prizes…
you should start doing these in russian language given how many are from that part of the world
Behaving bad anywhere is silly ...
An over reaction by security guards if you ask me!
3 security guards can't restrain 1 man and call police.no need for a beating 100%
Really, why so? 😂
Many places in the world are tired of tourists; Japan, Spain, Bali.. are there other places that I don't know?
