An oldie but a goodie. I’m going back and watching or rewatching videos. O forget all of the great stuff you’ve made and I’ve attempted to make. Thank you for always being so inspiring. 💜
Wonderful Gayle. So happy you shouted out Kate she is so lovely. Already subbied to all of these today. I did a video on Sunday and made some book paper pockets that you did well over a year ago. I keep the samples in a small plastic popper wallet. Have a blessed day. Hugs and love 🤗🤗🤗💖💖💖
Whenever you mention a man journal, I think of using one of my dad's plaid shirts as a fabric flip, and other ephemera. And using photos etc to make it a memory book. He has been gone for 16 years but I still miss him. Thanks for the inspiration. 🤗. I love the idea of an idea book!
I love your idea and hope you do create using a plaid shirt in honor of your father. It would make a great cover, lining, pockets or other pieces. I’m sorry for your loss, but happy to hear that you were so richly blessed by his life and presence.
Fabulous litttle journal Gayle, love your videos. Always so much fun and love your chat and laughter. Blessings and hugs. Diana Fox - Cape Town, South Africa.
Many ideas. I am looking for paper and magazines together for a moving journal. we want to move in about one and a half to an apartment because it is increasingly difficult for me to climb stairs. Because I wanted to make a journal again, I thought why not a moving journal. new ideas for a new home. paint, something for the floor, net curtains. the moving costs you can write it all down. so I'm working on it. and then the 6x6 is nice to make pockets, small envelope, etc. etc. Thank you Gayle for your ideas.
Thank you Gayle. I'm so glad you enjoyed my videos. I've been a long time follower of yours and you've been a fantastic friend and fellow crafter in my craft room while I work!
Hi Gayle!! Im a new subbie, and also brand new to this world of papercrafting. I've been a scrapbooker for many years, but this is a whole new adventure! I was introduced to you by my sister last week. I haven't looked back since! Tearing paper, gluing it onto other paper, inking, making pockets and tags...oh my😍😍. Today I stained some paper and doilies with coffee. I am in love. Thank you for inspiring me everyday. Love from 🇨🇦🇨🇦
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you shouting out other channels as you show your versions of their craft. That is so kind and inspiring. It’s a habit I’m going to add to my routine. I don’t watch too much crafty content but when I do I’ll definitely share The Who and the what. 🖤
I started watching junk journal videos on TH-cam about 18 months ago and in the beginning, I often came across your videos which I loved. Then for some reason, I began to get Scrapbooking with ME, Roxy Creations, and a few others, but I did not see any of yours. Once again the Gods have smiled upon me and I am once again getting your videos (not that there was anything wrong with the ladies I was watching. They are all talented and brilliant journalers) as I tend to watch whatever comes up randomly. You must have done something to please TH-cam but I am the winner. Your down-to-earth, honest, and sometimes quite funny approach to making videos is great and your talent is without a doubt. Welcome back Gayle!!!!. Rose
Thank you soooo much for sharing my TH-cam channel!!! You have really helped me get off to a good start. 💖 Also it’s a thrill to see the pocket you made! Thanks a million!!!
Yay, Kate! I’m so glad folks have been coming over to your channel! As I said in my comment on your tutorial, you’re a natural! I’m so excited to see what you come up with in the future! Sending big hugs! 🤗❤️
Make another idea book, you say? Ohhhhh kayyyy. If you insist. Love revisiting the multitude of 6” x 6” pads. Fabulous idea and thank you for making me begin my day with a smile 😊
Just had an idea for the black butterflies, put glue in the centers, leaving the edge dry then use some orange or yellow glitter and you'll have sparkley Monarchs! You can use acrylic orange paint as well.
Lots of fun Gayle. I love all of the new ephemera. Will have to write the new you-tubers down as I don’t think I follow any of them.. Thanks for the great video🌸🌺💝
Thank you very much for sharing your videos. 👍 Your kindness surely brings lots smiles to my family. ☺️ I can't believe that my four year old girl enjoys watching you making journals as much as me. 😍 She loves the idea of having many pockets, tucks, tags and tickets. 🏷️📖 So many goodies...So much fun. 😄 We are crafting together and now my hubby is joining us too. We really appreciate you for the inspiration of making idea journals. We are grateful for your talent, and for your willingness to share it with the world.🤩😇🥰
Thanks so much, Sandy! Thanks for your Etsy purchase too! Your package is on its way. I had to take it to the post office because Etsy would let me print a label for your address. Etsy gets fussy with international packages sometimes. 😂❤️
Just love your channel Gayle. I love how you promote others too. I have found it difficult to build up subscribers on my channel and have started self-doubting myself. That is so kind of you. Anyway, I popped in today to get some 6 x 6 ideas and you have given me plenty! Thank you! I also have a 6 x 6 video on my channel inspired by Treasure books which is a sweet little journal booklet. I am going to take some of your ideas and see what I can make to use up some of my 6 x 6 papers. Thank you! 🤗💐
I had more fun watching this! I sat down a day later and made (almost) all of the projects, subscribed to the other channels, and started an Idea Book, which I've been wanting to do for ages! I already have an Idea book just for Septeria 18, as I love all of her sweet little projects, and most of them are using 6x6 paper. You inspired me to get started on my own Idea book! TFS.
Thanks so much for the shoutout!!💕 Funny timing, I just mentioned you in my video today about going back to my original Etsy shop..I was showing some flip envelopes you and Tina had made and inspired me to make! Great pockets today! I’m subbed to Paper Inspiration..the other 2 are new to me so I’ll stop over and subscribe, thanks for sharing! Jo Ann 💕
I had fun making along with you today. When I was "cleaning" my craft room the other day I found six more pads of 6x6 paper so I really needed the inspiration to day!
Gayle your pockets are pretty cool themselves! No they aren’t like the one Kate made but don’t dismiss them. I want to know how to make them too! Maybe and I think they are A Gayle Original. So a video please! Kate’s’ pocket is pretty cool too. I also use my 6x6 pads for tag bases a lot. I cut them in half at 3 inches and two pretty tag bases. Or I cut it at 4 inches and then I have one journal card and a skinny tag. Twigs and tomes is a cool name! Great pocket
Great ideas. You could always glue the tea-stained paper onto the back to cover the typed bits. I'm going to have a play and see what else I can come up with.
When I work with art glitter glue with a fine tip I place damp paper towel in a glass jar and just keep my glue bottle tipped upside down in the glass with the open tip resting on the damp paper towel- the glue doesn’t run out and the tip doesn’t clog- when I’m done crafting I wipe the tip and insert the pin - best way ever to work with art glitter glue 💕
Good afternoon Gayle Thanks for giving Kate a shout on your channel. I had a feeling you'd enjoy her and the tutorial. You have put out another great video today! Happy Crafting, Arlene.
I love all the creative pockets and tucks and booklets. I sometimes use my 6 x 6 paper pads. So this are great examples. I will visit there webpages. 👍🏼🥰
I have been trying to catch up on watching your videos and I love them all. Your work is so beautifully done and I was wondering any way to have you do a start to finish video on those little flowers you had made in I believe it was a December video when your son had come for a visit. You said you worked on them while he was doing his work. If I am not mistaken I believe you said they were a Tim Holtz die cut. I had gotten a Sizzix from my husband the previous christmas and really have not used it much. Would love to see some videos on using it. I never really know what paper to use, plain or printed to get the look I want like your darling flowers. Instead of a netflix binge watch, I have been having a gayle binge watch. Look forward to all your videos.
I absolutely love that little blank journal from “Journey of Crafting “ it’s the kind I love to write in. Thanks for all the new ways to use 6x6 papers.... what a fun video. 🌸🌸🌸
Hi just watched your video thank you for all the ideas for 6x6 paper pads. For me it shows me how to make ephemera. Will look for the video where you decorate the projects. Thanks 😀🇦🇺🍀🎄
I have to have a notebook next to my bed now (since crafting) so I can write down my ideas while in bed and it does help me to be able to sleep as soon as I jot them down
Congratulations, Gayle! I am a fairly new subscriber, but I do love watching your videos. I would love to see a beach/ocean/ dolphin journal from start to finish. 😊😊
The middle patterned piece looks like it'd be a cool grungy, raggedy belly band. If that makes sense. Like, the part of the ruler pattern that you see, tear a piece to match that, torn above and below.
Well this video was meant to be. Tuesday I was going through my craft room and found some fancy corner punches. I thought well I never use these anymore and then you made the 6x6 scoring 1 1/2 on each side and turn down the corner 👍🏻. Guess those punches will go back in the craft room 🥴. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for the tips on 6x6 paper. I have the TH paper pack that has 12x12 but it’s in 6x6 squares. That last pocket will be great for your man journal. TFS
I have been watching the 12x12 series... great ideas! Its 3ady to get excited, I don't blame you Gayle! I forgot to say that journal cover, that you bought is gorgeous! Now off to add more channels and then watch more videos.. lol
Hi and hugs, Gayle. I really like the first pocket a lot and have saved it on my iPad. I certainly will check out the references you included today. Thank you for sharing! Stay well and stay safe.
Really enjoyed this one Gayle. Can’t wait to dive into my 6x6’s that have been taking up room on the shelf. Now they have a purpose. ❤️❤️ Also thank you for the envelope instruction. I will finally get mine out and do it with you.
TYFS more pocket ideas and I subscribed to the crafters you mentioned in this video. Need to keep busy during these times. Enjoy your day and Happy Crafting! 👍❄️❄️❄️
thanks for the usual fabulous videos. That was so nice giving those names of other crafters... your so nice. I checked them out and subscribed to all.. they are great. thanks again take care ;)
I am making a video for my channel this Monday of a couple pockets/tucks. I hope you don't mind me tagging you for that first idea of the double tuck with my own personal touch. I love these. ☺♥
Hello Gayle! New subbie here so excited to view more of your videos. I am also a new channel starter, about a month old my channel is. Some great ideas you showed. May God bless you and your family today and always!

Excellent!! I do not own a paper cutter yet, but now I know how they work. What a great contribution you are to the jj community..... thank you💜💜💜💜

What a great idea! My Dad recently passed away and I have so many if his office papers, supplies and his shirts I could use. Thank you! 😊
Cloth cover with a pocket and a tag with his photo would be great❤️
You’re so kind to introduce other channels to us and demonstrate them as well. I appreciate your willingness to share your talents with us🤗
These look relatively easy. I love scrappy Saturday. There are so many things to do with scraps. My faviorites are clusters and snippit rolls
Lots of great ideas! I always want to make everything I see… lol! 😀 I will have to watch this again and make some along with you! 😊🌸😊
That’s were I’m at! Not enough time in the day to make everything I want to!! 😂❤️
